Today, I'm showing you the latest mural done by MonoSourcil this summer in Montreal. It's a triptych entitled La Cueilleuse (The Picker) in the east of the Hochelaga Maisonneuve neighborhood. I'm not very happy with my photos, but the alley is very narrow and filled with electrical cables and trees. There's no way to step back and take a photo of the entire wall 😤.

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente la dernière murale faite par MonoSourcil cette année à Montréal. Il s'agit d'un tryptique intitulé La Cueilleuse à l'est dans le quartier Hochelaga Maisonneuve. Je ne suis pas très content de mes photos mais la ruelle est très étroite et remplie de cables électriques et d'arbres. Il n'y a aucun recul pour prendre ce mur en photo dans son ensemble.

This mural is located in the alley at the corner of Bossuet Street and Fontaine Street in Montreal. Since I only knew that this work was located near Rougemont Park, I had to search a bit. I'm really happy to have found it 😀.

Cette murale se trouve dans la ruelle au coin de la rue Bossuet et de la rue Fontaine à Montréal. Comme je savais seulement que cette oeuvre se situait près du Parc Rougemont, j'ai dû chercher un peu. Bien content de la voir trouver 😀.

As this isn't the first post about this artist, MonoSourcil has been very active in Montreal for several years now. By now, you must recognize her style and know her biography 😀. Maxilie Martel-Racicot was born in Montreal. After graduating with a degree in visual arts in 2012, she decided to turn to StreetArt, which is more free and intuitive. Her world is populated by businessmen, monsters, and robots representing her vision of today's society.

Comme ce n'est pas le premier post sur cette artiste, MonoSourcil est très active sur Montréal depuis quelques années. Vous devez reconnaitre son style et connaitre sa biographie depuis le temps 😀. Maxilie Martel-Racicot est née à Montréal. Après son diplôme en art visuel, en 2012, elle décide de se tourner vers le StreetArt, plus libre et intuitif. Son univers est peuplé d'hommes d'affaire, de monstres et de robots représentant sa vision de la société actuelle.

For once, her character La Cueilleuse doesn't have a single eyebrow, but her style is still recognizable. She had been looking for more vertical wall formats to bring her ideas to life. MonoSourcil painted this triptych in just four days with the help of Ryzek, another Montreal artist. In the last part, we see the accumulation of characters she loves so much. And you can find some MonoSourcil flowers 😀.

Pour une fois son personnage La Cueilleuse n'a pas un seul sourcil mais on retrouve son style. Elle cherchait depuis quelque temps des formats de mur plus verticaux pour réaliser ses idées. MonoSourcila peint ce tryptique en seulement 4 jours avec l'aide de Ryzek, autre artiste montréalais. Dans la dernière partie, on retrouve l'accumulation de personnages qu'elle aime tant.
