We continue to discover the various murals done during the 30th edition of Under Pressure in Montreal, the oldest StreetArt festival still running in North America. An entire block in the city center is completely transformed each year by the artists, such as Saint-Dominique Street at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street.

On continue de découvrir les différents murs réalisés lors de la 30ème édition du Under Pressure à Montréal, le plus vieux festival StreetArt encore en activité en Amérique du Nord. Tout un quadrilatère du centre ville se retrouve complétement changer chaque année grâce aux artistes comme la rue Saint-Dominique au coin avec la rue Sainte-Catherine.

On Saint-Dominique Street at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street in Montreal. This is the wall of the performance hall formerly known as Metropolis.

This mural starts with Dfek, one of Montreal's best writers. I really love his style, an explosion of color every time. Looking at his Instagram account, I realize I'm missing the door. He also drew a really cool character on it. I think that's not the only thing I missed on this mural. I'll have to go back.

Ce mur commence avec Dfek, un des meilleurs writers de Montréal. J'aime beaucoup le style, une explosion de couleurs à chaque fois. En regardant son compte instagram, je remarque qu'il me manque la porte. Il a aussi dessiné un personnage bien sympathique. Je pense que ce n'est pas le seul élément que j'ai manqué sur ce mur. Il faudra que j'y retourner.

Deep & Repus

In the concert hall's emergency exit, Deep and Repus painted the stairs. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to photograph because it's barricaded with barbed wire. I hope that one day when I pass by, it will be open so I can take a better picture.

Dans la sortie de secours de la salle de concert, Deep et Repus ont peint les escaliers. Malheureusement, c'est très difficile de prendre en photo car c'est barricadé avec des barbelés. J'espère qu'un jour en passant, cela sera ouvert pour prendre une meilleure photo.

After the stairs, an unknown artist created this rather original lettering in the style. As indicated above, it's "Magic Modes" / FR : Après les escaliers, un artiste inconnu a fait ce lettrage assez original dans le style. Comme indiqué en haut, c'est "Magic Modes"* 😀.

This is followed by Sly and a character from Mr Dupont, a French artist who took advantage of his visit to Montreal to paint two works during Under Pressure, see StreetArt #832 for his other work made with his son.

We finish with a very clean lettering by Spek. I notice that I'm also missing two more letters to complete this wall on Saint-Dominique Street. I don't know why I'm missing so many photos. I must have talked to someone or a squirrel crossing the street and, poof, I got distracted 😀. That gives me another reason to go back.

On termine avec un lettrage très propre de Spek. Je remarque que là aussi il me manque deux lettrages pour terminer ce mur sur la rue Saint-Dominique. Je ne sais pas pourquoi il me manque autant de photos. J'ai dû parler à quelqu'un ou un écureuil à traverser la rue et hop déconcentré 😀. Cela me donne une autre raison pour y retourner.
