Hosted A Surprise Dinner For Our Co-Teacher's Daughter's 2nd Birthday

 Surprises are the best way to show love and effort to friends and families especially on their special occasions like birthdays, congratulatory celebrations and so much more. We celebrated our friend's daughter's birthday by hosting a surprise dinner for her daughter. Her daughter Eliana is turning 2 years old. We all gathered a fair amount of money to buy all our needs such as : a birthday cake for her, a balloon and some foods we need.  We bought her a birthday cake from our favorite cake shop. Since we chose to celebrate it at the beach front just across their house, her mother, our friend is the one who took photos of her cake and is the one who struck some poses. The woman in red is our co-teacher and a good friend of ours. When she told us that she will not be having any preparations for her child's birthday, we really got struck because it's her child's 2nd birthday and she does not have the sufficient money to host a birthday party for her. As her true friends, we do not want that to happen. We do not want the day to end without her feeling special on her birthday so we decided to contribute to buy her all these foods. As a mother myself, I was hurt to hear that the child turning 2 will not be having any celebration that is why I planned with my co-teachers on the surprise dinner we will be hosting.  **TUBURAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS**   Before our dinner, we took some group photos with my colleagues, friends. It was such a fun time being together to celebrate our colleague's daughter's birthday. We sat at the sand while having our dinner and we just took more and more photos. The birthday girl needed to go home to take a bath and change since she swam at the beach when we arrived, therefore we do not have any photos with the birthday girl herself. It is just us, her mother,and my co-teachers.  My partner is the one who cooked the grilled fish while my son is helping around with the flash light on his forehead.  **BIRTHDAY PANCIT**   In every Filipino occasion especially birthdays, pancit is never absent. It is always believed to be a symbolism of long life. We did not missed the chance to cook pancit also. It is everyone's favorite. Aside from the pancit, we also have friend chicken, and grilled fish. It was perfectly cooked and eaten at the beach front which makes it more special.  We are so happy our surprise was a blast and it was a success. Hopefully, our colleague appreciated our efforts on pulling up a surprise dinner for her daughter's 2nd birthday. It may not be the grandest celebration but for sure it was celebrated the best possible we that we could. In the end,it will always be the thought that counts. We are so happy we made our friend happy. It is what true friendship is all about. Being there in good times and in bad. To more birthdays and blessings to come! Ciao!
