Quick Catch-up With My Bestie : Samgyupsal Lunch and Knoah Mari For Dessert

 Bogo City helds a special place in my heart. I have spent almost all of my childhood in the city. It is a small city located in the northernmost part of Cebu Province. Here in Bogo City, I have experienced all joy and laughter, I have met seasonal people, I also found lifetime friends who have been part of my life and has such a big impact on my journey in life. I will take you through our **Bogo City Food Adventure** today! Me and my college best friend decided to hang out and catch-up since we have not seen each other for quite some time already. We want to go on a samgyupsal lunch date at one of the most famous samgyupsal places in Bogo City the **Flaming Hot Pig Restaurant** located just near Bogo City Plaza and then for dessert, we thought of going to **Knoah Mari** a newly-opened cafè across Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges Bogo City. Plot Twist: I will be going to Bogo City from Tuburan via bus commute and it is my first time to try communting since I have been traveling via car or motorcycle going to Bogo City. My partner and our son went home to our hometown therefore I do not have any other option if I want to travel but just via commute. **TUBURAN BUS AND VAN TERMINAL**    While I was checking what bus leaves first, I felt the need to pee so I went to their comfort room which was actually just for free. Not only is that convenient but it also is a refreshing sight because the view from the back of the terminal is the seashore. As a beach lover, seeing the view made me so much at ease.     Here in **Tuburan Terminal**, therefore a few options as to what mode of transportation you want. If you want to go to Cebu City from Tuburan via Toledo-Naga route, you can ride the **Corominas Bus** which stops at **Cebu South Bus Terminal** in E-mall. If you want to go to Cebu City from Tuburan via Tabuelan-Lugo route, you can ride the **Ceres Bus** which stops at **Cebu North Bus Terminal** in SM Mabolo. And if you want to go to Cebu City from Tuburan via TCH Balamban route, you can ride the van for hire which stops at **Cebu IT Park** and in **Ayala Main**.   From Tuburan Terminal, the Ceres bus left at 11:00 am and I arrived at Lugo at 12:12 pm which took the travel time one hour and 12 minutes and the bus ticket was for ₱68.00.  Are you confused as to how to read the bus ticket? There are numbers and the ticket holes presents how much the fare is. The first number is the first amount. As you can see from the left, the hole is at number 6 then the second hole is at number 8 which means the fare is for ₱68.00. When traveling from Tuburan to Bogo City via Lugo, I need to go on two bus rides. I need to stop at Lugo. I stopped at Lugo and waited across the church for the bus going to Bogo City.    After a couple of minutes, another bus came which is headed to Bogo City. The ticket fare from Lugo to Bogo City is ₱75.00 and it took me around 45 minutes of travel. When I arrived in Bogo City, I rode a tricycle with ₱20.00 fare to **Flaming Hot Pig Restaurant** located near Bogo City Plaza - Bogo City, Northern Cebu, Philippines. **FLAMING HOT PIG RESTAURANT** **Flaming Hot Pig Restaurant** is located on the 2nd Floor of JGC Finance Building just across Philippine National Bank in Bogo City.    Also, I saw this tarpaulin stating that they are hiring for cook, waiter and waitress. You might want to try applying here if you are from northern Cebu area. **LUNCH DATE WITH MY BEST FRIEND AT FLAMING HOT PIG SAMGYUPSAL RESTAURANT IN BOGO CITY NORTHERN CEBU PHILIPPINES** We both love to eat samgyupsal and this restaurant is perfect for us since this is unlimited samgyupsal, unlimited side dishes and unlimited iced tea for ₱399.00 per head. You will really be satisfied by the amount you will be paying since the foods are unlimited. We enjoyed eating and we had a total of two rounds of meat. It was the perfect lunch date we could think of knowing that we both love to eat samgyupsal.      She is my college best friend but our friendship remains still until now because her sister in law is also my high school best friend. We have shared so many beautiful memories together and I am the god mother of her youngest son. That is why we can catch up every once in a while especially when it is his son's birthday which I always attend to because I am his ninang. We have shared so many secrets and so many stories and we have been witness to each others victories and downfall. Due to our busy adulting life, we rarely see each other. At present, I am working as a public school teacher in Tuburan and she is working as a call center agent in Cebu City. But we are both classmates during college but she hasn't passed the Licensure Examination For Teachers yet. Soonest when she gets her license, I can't wait to work with her in the Department Of Education. We took all the time in the world catching up about so many things and we really enjoyed each other's company. We decided to have some dessert. From **Flaming Hot Pig** we walked going to **Knoah Mari** just across Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges Bogo City. **KNOAH MARI ~ BOGO CITY** **Knoah Mari** is a newly opened cafè here in Bogo City which is open from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. I really love the aesthetic of this cafè and they also serve best-tasting drinks and pastries. It is my second time to be here.  **Knoah Mari** is just along the road and that road leads to the **Archdiocesean Shrine Of San Vicente Ferrer Bogo City** which makes this cafè very accessible and very easy to locate since you can easily spot it when going to the church of Bogo City.  Back during the years when we were still studying here in Bogo City, there were not must aesthetic cafès like these, all that was available was Jollibee in Gaisano Bogo and it was our go-to fastfood restaurant. We continued chitchatting with my best friend and we really enjoyed the ambiance of this cafè and we had so much privacy since we were the only customers around.    We had some iced coffee and some cookies. What I love most about their cookies here is that they preheat it before they serve it. It makes it more moist and more good tasting.  Of course, we did not missed the chance to have a photo in this beautiful cafè, **Knoah Mari.** I really had such a fun time with my best friend and it is an essential for my mental health to be with people whom I already have so much familiarity with. I do not have the need to constantly explain myself since they have known me already. My best friend is my human diary and I appreciate her so much. I also love that Bogo City now has these restaurants and cafès which are world-class! I'd like to be back soon if my schedule allows. To catching up with old friends with best memories with! Ciao! ❤️
