**Tuburan National High School - Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines**
The month of July has officially ended and it means it is time for Nutrition Month's Culmination Program. It is the time where all the awards will be given and all the winners will be declared. We also had a pageant at school.
This is my first time to celebrate Nutrition Month Culmination Activity with an actual class advisory because I was a special teacher back then when I got hired.

This is a soft copy of our program and these are the sets of activities that will be happening the entire day.
As for me and my class advisory, my Grade 12 Unity Class of 2025-2026, we decided to held another feeding program. This time, this is not an actual meal but just a snack. We decided to have bam-e paired with sliced bread.

We chose to use a butane stove so that our eyes won't hurt if we will use firewood. We cooked our foods at our hallway. I have a huge pan at home so I brought it here and we used it for our one kilo bam-e.
Bam-e is a mixture of canton, sotanghon, vegetables and meat of your choice. Since I have co-teachers and learners who do not eat pork, I chose to use chicken meat.
My learners prepared all the ingredients at the table near out butane set-up.

Here is the canton and sotanghon brand we used, the vegetables was already chopped so there is no need to exert much efforts on chopping it. Here in Cebu we call this *"pinancit"*. These are chopped vegetables ready for pancit mixture such as cabbage, carrots and red bell pepper.

We bought this huge pan way back my son's birthday, we decided to buy this since we are fond of cooking mass amounts of foods. We love to hosts friends at home therefore my partner really cooks a lot. It is useful at school also because as a class adviser, every time I have activities with my learners that involves cooking massive amounts, we have our own and we do not have to borrow from other people.

While mixing our bam-e, my learner helped me out by holding the pan so that it will not slide and fall off. Mixing one kilo of these ingredients is such a challenging thing. Gladly, we were able to cook it perfectly well.
After we cooked our bam-e, we served it on the table which I made sure everyone will have a fair share of the bam-e and the sliced bread. We arranged the bam-e and the sliced bread where it will be accessible to all my learners.

This is one of my friends here at my workplace and she is not a class adviser therefore she does not get to host events like these, that is why every time I have eat outs with my class advisory I always make her feel included and I invite her to join us.

I remember the days when I was not a class adviser, being a special teacher is quite challenging especially for us who do not have a faculty room. The senior high school department in our school does not have a faculty room. So whenever you have vacant times, you'll just have to find a place where you feel like you are not disturbing other teacher. Most of special teachers stays at hallways.
When I got my class advisory, I was so happy that finally I got to have my own classroom. A place to call my second home and a place where I can held eat outs with my learners. Finally some personal space.

This feeding activity we had today was really such a spontaneous decision. My learners just contributed five pesos each for their sliced bread.

Since I withdrawed a little bit of Hive today, I shared my blessings to them. I am the one who bought all the ingredients for our bam-e and I also bought more sliced bread since their ₱145.00 can only buy 2 packs which is not enough for them.
I am really grateful for **Hive** since I get to share my blessings especially to my learners. Nothing compares to seeing them smile and I know it may be a little thing to do but will always be the thought that counts.

We also bought 6 packs of orange juice and mixed it three times since our water jug caters two packs of juice to get that perfect taste. It was shared by everyone.

We were so full and everyone was able to have their fair share of our bam-e and sliced bread snack. It was not the most prestigious snack but it was made with so much love by their class adviser, yours truly.
After we ate our snacks, me and my two workmates headed out to our quadrangle to check what is currently happening at the Nutrition Month Culminating Program.

This is by far the nicest costume among all the candidates, we grabbed the opportunity to take some photos with this contestant.
After we watched the program for a few minutes, we then headed back to our classrooms since it was time to get off from work, 5:00 pm.
To more fun moments at school and to more Hive withdrawals so I can be able to share my blessing to other people especially my learners. Ciao!❤️
