Weekend Beach Therapy

 *Maravillosa Beach, Maravilla, Tabuelan, Cebu, Philippines* Weekends are one of the most awaited part of each week and there is no better way to spend your weekend than a day at the beach, we decided to go to **Maravillosa Beach** which is a public beach access located in Maravilla, Tabuelan, Cebu, Philippines.  We stopped by **Maravilla Brgy.Hall** since the beach is just located at the side of their Brgy. Hall. One thing we love most about going to their beach here is that the sand is fine and white and it has blue, pristine water.   Ever since they got their new mayor, the new mayor opened the space just beside their bgry.hall which serves as their parking space. As constant beach-goers here at **Maravillosa Beach, Maravilla, Tabuelan**, it made us so happy knowing that the local government unit now offers free parking space. It is such convenient because back then, the parking fee is for one hundred pesos and as wise beach-goers, we park near the highway where the parking space is free but the only downside is that the walking distance is quite far. After parking our car at the parking area, we immediately went to the beach side to find our spot. Every time we come here at the beach, we bring our own camping table and camping chairs to avoid paying rent for the tables and chairs here at the beach side. Although the entrance to the beach is absolutely free, the tables and chairs have rent which is mostly priced at three hundred pesos per set. Luckily, we found a spot just beside the cottage where we placed our camping table and chairs and we set up all the things we brought such as our rice cooker, viand, soft drinks and some liquor. Every once in a while, we drink alcoholic beverages especially at the beach. It is such a fun experience being able to chill out every once in a while. Hearing the sound of the waves makes our experience even more relaxing and refreshing. We brought some rice which is every Filipino staple and some raw pork meat and raw fish which we grilled in their grilling area just beside their public comfort rooms. We ate lunch which is rice paired with grilled pork and grilled fish and some fish ceviche. The ceviche really tasted so good most especially the fish is fresh and it was spicy.  After our lunch, we drank our alcoholic beverages while sharing some good stories. It was such an experience to remember. Then, we decided to go for a swim.  The waters of **Maravillosa Beach** is really pristine and I love that their sand is also so fine and there are not much stones that can hurt your feet. There is also no sea urchins and you can freely go for a swim barefoot. We waited for the sunset but it was not that what we expected as what it usually offers but still it was a scenery which really takes our breath away. It is something worth taking photos of.   Going to the beach is really such a fun thing to do especially during weekends. It can release all my stress away and I look forward to days like these. Indeed the beach is an unpaid therapy indeed.
