**A Walk in the Park**
It was one fine Saturday when we went to Bogo City, a nearby city in our town to run some errands. I went to Bogo City with my son and my mother.

**So much errands and so much walking**
My mother bought a new cellphone. All thanks to Hive, she was able to buy a new phone using her hard-earned money after she withdrew her first-ever income here. After she made the purchase, we walked to Gaisano, a local mall here in Bogo City then we ate lunch at our favourite fast-food chain. After we ate, we walked from the mall to the plaza which was approximately a ten to fifteen-minute walk.

**Sliced Mangoes and Shrimp Paste**
At the entrance of Bogo City Plaza, you will see vendors outside selling sliced mangoes paired with shrimp paste for ten pesos. It is a perfect snack as we take a walk in the park. We bought three sets. One for me, one for my son and one for my mother.

**Our Bogo City**
My son struck a pose at the city's hashtag they posted at the park. You will see "Atong Bogo" which means "Our Bogo". This is a warm welcome to all the tourists both local and international who are visiting the city's park.

**A Lot of People at the Park**
As we started walking, we passed by people hanging around with friends and perhaps their loved ones. There were a lot of people at the park today. All wore smiles on their faces.

**Selfie Break**
In the middle of our walk, my son stopped and struck a pose. He has a cellphone of his own and he takes a lot of selfies as well, just like his mother. Starting him young so that when he is old enough, he will join the Hive too!

**Children's Playground**
While enjoying our walk, we passed by Bogo City Park's Children's Playground. When my son was younger, a walk in the park would never be complete without a play at the children's playground. But now that he is turning nine two months from now, the playground does not excite him that much anymore.

**Star Apple Tree**
My son got tired walking so we paused a bit and he stood at the star apple tree. Do you know what a star apple is?
A star apple is one of the sweetest fruits I have ever tasted. It's a tree that is huge and it gives so much shade. It is beneficial to have a star apple tree. Not just because it has a good-tasting fruit, but it can provide good shade.

**Fur Babies Chilling at the Park**
In the middle of our walk, we saw dogs at the park. They even struck a pose when I took them some snaps. I am a dog-lover and I find them adorable, When I see dogs, I always tend to take photos of them.

**The Christmas Spirit is Alive**
Here in the Philippines, when it reaches the ber months (September, October, November and December) people are already getting busy preparing for Christmas. It is a tradition in the Philippines for people to go carolling once the ber months have begun. Here is a photo of a man carolling at Bogo City Plaza.

**Ice Cream Vendor at the Park**
Here's an ice cream cart roaming around the Bogo City Plaza. There were a lot of people who bought ice cream from this man and my son was not tempted because according to him, we were still stuffed from the lunch we just had. Who says no to ice cream? Jacob!

**Bogo City Public Library and Museum**
Inside the Bogo City Plaza is the Bogo City Public Library and Museum. My son wanted to go to the museum at that time but it was closed. So we went to the Bogo City Public Library. It was the perfect place to read books and study. The place was fully airconditioned as well.

**People at the Library**
In the photos above, you will see students studying out with their classmates and friends. Also, there are computers with hourly payments people can use for research purposes.
Once people come in and out of the library, they need to log their names, schools where they are enrolled, their ages and signatures.

**What My Son Did Inside The Library**
My son read books that he loved, he was amazed upon seeing so many books. Not only were there reading materials, there were toys available for kids to play with. He enjoyed his visit to the library.
We then walked our way out of the plaza and then we walked to Bogo City Wharf and hiked a bit. We left our motorcycle at the Bogo City Plaza Parking Area.
As we walked on the way to the Bogo City Wharf, we saw a woman selling these.

**Bananacue**
This is a local delicacy we call *bananacue*Itt is a banana with caramelized sugar. It is one of the favourite delicacies for snack time.

**The Bogo City Wharf**
As we walked along the road headed to the Bogo City Wharf, we passed by these establishments. These are all karaoke stations where people can sing and hang out with their friends and loved ones. As we reached the middle part of the Bogo City Wharf, we saw this man and his two labradors he took out for swimming. The two dogs are very energetic and they swam so fast at the Bogo City Wharf. Their owner gave them treats every time they picked up the bottle their owner threw at the sea and had them get it.
We then walked back to the plaza where our motorcycle was parked. It was a fun-filled walk and we enjoyed it so much! Ciao!
