Hello my dear Hivers from the @dailyblog community. I hope you're all well and safe.

All Soul's Day is celebrated every November 2 of the year. During this day we visit the cemetery to honor and give respect to our departed loved ones. It often becomes our family reunions actually.

It has become a fun day every year for us. When siblings, cousins and relative meet at the cemetery everyone seems so happy. Talking about plans, some throwing jokes, mostly it becomes our kumustahan. Updating each other about life currently.

For this year, we went to the cemetery earlier than usual. We visited yesterday, which is 2 days before the exact all soul's day. We did it earlier because one of my aunt's need to travel going to her children's residence. They live in the city now having their own families there.

Our aunt ask her siblings including my mother if we could go to the cemetery earlier than usual. To which my mother and their eldest sister agreed. We were only few during this visit. It's just me, my husband, my daughter Yashfeen, my niece, our youngest sister and mama and papa. Then our two aunties and my cousin's son.

We are few because most of the family members want to come today na. The mass will be held today that's why. Another reason is that I have a niece, daughter of my cousin is celebrating her birthday. So most of our family members are busy helping out in the preparation.

So in the cemetery it's not the usual full of laughter visit. It's very solemn just cleaning the area where our lives ones were buried. We visited our lolo and loa, cousins, and other relatives buried near them. We put some food, drinks and lighted a candle. Just the usual during a visit. I almost forgot the flowers, lol!

We stayed there for about an hour only because we still need to help in the birthday preparation of my niece. It was a short, solemn visit we had today.

That's all. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
