Hello my dear hivers of the @worldmappin community. Hope you're all happy and safe during your travels.
Today I will share with you a short stay we had at Bislig Bay found in the City of Bislig, Surigao del Sur.
So it was a Saturday before I got reinstated from duty when I decided to pursue enrolling for another master's degree. Together with my husband we ride a bus. It was a three-hour ride from home.
We went out really early so we could catch the bus early and so we can get home early too. When we arrived at the City, we still have another ride to take from the bus terminal. We took a bao-bao ride to the school where I will enroll. It was just a 5-minute ride going to the school.
I had to wait about for about thirty minutes before I got entertained in the registrar's office. And after an hour I was already enrolled. It was already late for lunch so I hurried out and looked for my husband so we can have our lunch.
After our lunch we looked for the bus we rode earlier because apparently only one bus is operatinal. The one we rode will also be the one we'll ride back. And sad to say, there is still two hours before the next trip.
Since the bay is just across the bus terminal, we decided to go there and kill time before our ride.
It was definitely the best decision. The sun is up which made the view perfect for picture taking. The sea is looking calm and the sky is clear blue.
There were also swings which can accommodate both children and adults.
There was a shed that has a second floor which is overlooking the bay 360 degrees. There are mushrooms like that gives shade to whoever comes up if the sun is too hot.
There's also a souvenir shop on the side of the bay. There were beautiful items good for pasalubong inside the shop. The bystanders and tourist also won't get bored because in the right side of the souvenir shop, there is a cafe where there is a karaoke perfect to keep everyone entertained.
We also enjoyed icecream as a treat for that very hot, sunny day.
There were also these aesthetic chairs for people who loves taking pictures with a nice seat.
Though we waited pretty long but it was not boring at all. We didn't even notice the bus is already coming. It was a well-spent waiting time haha.
That's all for now. Thank you for reading this far! Hope you enjoyed it. 'Til my next post. Lead photo is edited in Canva and all words used are mine.
