Hello my dear Hivers from the @lifestyle community. How's your day? I hope you're all well and safe.

Today I want to share a very productive class I had early in the morning. We had a lesson about the different places in the community.

I like this lesson so much because the learners will learn to appreciate first the different professions they can find in their community.

Next is that they will have a clue as to the kind of profession they want to have in the future. I even asked them the question and I'm amazed as to the different responses I received.

Some wants to be an engineer despite not having an engineer in the community. I'm more than han happy also knowing some wants to become a teacher like me. That would be very amazing for the community to have a teacher who is a resident of the community.

So moving on, one of the activities we had is for my students to draw a place they can find in the community. Of course this is after I presented some of the place found in the community. It includes the hospital, schools, parks, markets and even a post office.

But mostly they drew those that they can see around. Most of their drawing are that of the schools and hospitals because it's what's present and they actually saw in the town.

One of the reasons also why they were so motivated to draw is that they can use their new school supplies. They used their rulers, pencils and crayons. I saw how eager they were to finish their drawings.

And true enough their eagerness can be seen in their outputs. I'm glad this activity is part of the lesson. They developed their creativity and enthusiasm to the lesson. It makes me very proud of them as their teacher.

May be in my n ext lessons I will try to integrate arts more as I saw how they enjoy it. They're not only learning, they are also enjoying.

Truly learning happens more when they felt involved and hands on in their learning. Having this activity is really a good way of making education enjoyable and fun.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
