While I was browsing a reseller of Cbeauty, I found this brand called Charmacy Milano and saw this duochrome eyeshadow to be really striking. I wanna get products from different brands to widen the products I make videos about and it looks really interesting so I got one.
As you can see here, it has a really nice shift from warm green to blue. It's the Charmacy Milano Chameleon eyeshadow #905. I can't find it in the website anymore and I assume they changed it into a stick or this could just be a Chinese version. But it looks really good and very strikingly green. I'm kinda confused since it really gives a warm green that shifts to a cool green and then blue. Maybe the highlights give it the yellow-green shine but yeah.
To create this look, I started with a smokey black eyeshadow using Kaleidos quad palette in Black Jasmine. I first started with the lightest color as the transition. I still sometimes can't comprehend how it looks like that on pan but when it touches a skin, it changes color lol. I think maybe because I was also wearing an eyeshadow primer.
Next is the gray one and I applied it under the eyes and blended it on the edges so it's not sharp.
The color under the shimmers will be black so I applied it like this. It really gives the color of the shimmer to shine the best they can with a black base.
Next is applying the duochrome and it looks vivid green especially with the black eyeshadow beside and under it.
I applied the rest of the makeup on the face like eyebrows, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and highlights to complete the look. I used Girlcult matte lipstick in M62 and Girlcult lip glaze in J75 to match the green eyes.
Here's the overall look. The green really is striking and changes colors nicely depending on the light placement. I also am learning with the lighting placement properly so I'm able to capture the shift better.
It kinda gives a villain vibe, hence the name of the look. XD
