Today I tried to find a small hill I can walk from home. Fortunately, I live in Inverness in Scottish Highlands where I'm surrounded by small hills I can easily manage walking from home.

It was a bit hard to find a path that leads to the small hill, I saw on the map but using lots of ingenuity, I managed to find my way avoiding walking on high way and through farms and private properties.

It was a fine hot day, a wee bit too hot as we not used to this weather in Scotland.

Finally, I left the roads and buildings and can climb this small hill called Beinn a'Bheurlaich of 482 m heigh.

I git stunning views for a hill of not much ascent.

Wee selfie is a must!

Let's head down now.

It was good short hike from the doorstep as that's what's allowed at the moment, nea bad at all for lockdown mountaneering. Thank you for reading.
