Hello everyone, I recently shared with you my trip to the Netherlands, part of my European tour. In addition to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, we also visited a fairytale village in the Netherlands. In this article, I'd like to tell you about this village.
Herkese tekrar merhaba geçtiğimiz günlerde sizlerle Avrupa turumun bir parçası olan Hollanda seyahatinden bahsetmiştim. Hollanda’nın merkezi Amsterdam’ın yanı sıra Hollanda’da masalsı bir köye de uğradık. Bu yazımda size bu köyden bahsetmek istiyorum.
Located in the north of the Netherlands and known as the "Venice of the North," this village is called Giethoorn. It truly is a fairytale place, in the truest sense of the word. Giethoorn is car-free, with boats serving as transportation. Its quietness, greenery, small bridges over the waterways, and charming houses make it a charming village.
Hollanda'nın kuzeyinde yer alan ve "Kuzeyin Venedik’i" olarak anılan bu köyün adı Giethoorn. Burası, gerçekten de kelimenin tam anlamıyla masalsı bir yer. Giethoorn’da arabaların girmediği, ulaşımın teknelerle sağlandığı bir yaşam sürüyor. Sessizliği, yeşilliği, suyolları üzerindeki küçük köprüleri ve şirin evleriyle büyüleyici bir köy…
I couldn't take my eyes off the scenery during our boat trip. The boats floating on the water, the flower-filled gardens, and the houses steeped in history are peaceful. The hours I spent in Giethoorn reminded me that a slow and simple life, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, is possible.
Tekneyle yapılan gezinti sırasında gözlerimi manzaradan alamadım. Suyun üstünde süzülen tekneler, çiçeklerle bezeli bahçeler ve tarihle iç içe geçmiş evler insana huzur veriyor. Giethoorn’da geçirdiğim saatler, şehir hayatının karmaşasından uzak, yavaş ve sade bir yaşamın mümkün olduğunu hatırlattı bana.
Although my trip to the Netherlands was short, it was a truly impressive experience. The vibrant and free spirit of Amsterdam and the serene and magical atmosphere of Giethoorn complemented each other beautifully. Visiting these two places showed me once again how different faces a country can have.
Hollanda gezim kısa süreli olsa da oldukça etkileyici bir deneyimdi. Amsterdam’ın hareketli ve özgür ruhu ile Giethoorn’un dingin ve büyülü havası birbirini güzel bir şekilde tamamladı. Bu iki yeri görmek, bir ülkenin ne kadar farklı yüzleri olabileceğini bana bir kez daha gösterdi.
