Oftentimes, when we make decisions, i felt that we just tend to look at things only from our own angle and forget about the valuable friends around us friends with wisdom, those we can actually share our thoughts with. Sometimes, before making certain decisions, it helps to open up to those covenant friends and say, “This is what I am planning to do, what do you think about it?”
You will agree with me that in the multitude of counsel, there is safety. When we take advice from people who have gone ahead of us, it saves us from making avoidable mistakes. Attimes, even collective decision can go wrong too. But not always.
Yes, I have made wrong decisions too, but I have learnt to own up and see them as stepping stones, not the end of the road. "Mistakes are part of our growth" they teach us lessons and help others learn from our experience...
Another thing is that how we handle our mistakes determine how we rise and move on. Some kept pushing blame on others that they are responsible for their mistakes while some a the point of their mistakes, they trace back their steps and rise as giant and powerful more than ever.
