Hello, traveling friends and community, Greetings! Today, I want to share my exploration around our town. As I mentioned before, our town is surrounded by the sea with many rocky beaches. These locations are incredibly beautiful; each visit offers a different yet equally stunning experience. Now it's summer, everything is full of energy—trees, bushes, birds, insects, flowers, the sun, and the sea.
I typically prefer to stay indoors, but my husband always encourages me to be active and adventurous. He often drags me out of the house, and as soon as I'm outdoors, I feel like a child or a teenager again. I find myself running after butterflies, observing insects, trying to capture photos of birds, collecting berries, and playing with flowers. The summer days and the surroundings are perfect for my walks.
The location is a short distance from our house, but given the hot weather, we took the car to the closest point. parked the car about 2-3 kilometers away from our intended point. Here in Norway, we have very strict regulations, so we cannot drive into most natural areas.
As soon as we parked the car, my mind started complaining to myself about how far we had to walk and how difficult it would be for my bad back. before these thoughts spread in my mind, I spotted a beautiful butterfly fluttering by, and in that moment, my worried thoughts disappeared.
I chased after the butterfly to take a photo of it.
Along the way, I noticed some dried thistle flowers and felt sorry for them, as they had been without rain for a long time and were completely dried out. Despite this, they still held a certain beauty.
From a distance, we saw some geese playing with their babies. Not wanting to disturb them, we opted for a different path on our walk. However, they sensed our presence and flew away.
Walking through the bushes was a bit of fun, as we found a few trees full of wild cherries and were surrounded by the delightful fragrance of wildflowers. This gave us a unique and uplifting feeling.
After passing through some wooded areas, we arrived at an open space filled with rocks and small swimming spots scattered around. I noticed the rocks, and my husband suggested we walk towards that area. It made me think, Can I do it? I believe that the five elements of nature make us very powerful. I have noticed this many times. There have been many things that seemed beyond my capacity, but as soon as I immerse myself in nature, I feel an energy flow through my body and mind. This energy and my husband's encouragement.makes possible what once seemed impossible for me.
some area has very rough rocks having sharp edges.
We started climbing the very smooth polished rocks. In between, I found some nice wildflowers, insects, and birds, but my speed was much slower compared to my husband's. However, he was very patient and waiting for me.

I was halfway there, watching all the details around and taking photos. when he reached the target. Sitting on an amazingly smooth round rock waiting for me,
I took my time and made it, but I still asked my husband for help to pull me up.
After navigating some other rocks, I concentrated on building my strength to maintain proper balance while climbing the slippery sections. One by one, I jumped across all the rocks and enjoyed my adventure. As soon as I reached the highest rock, I took many photos of the sea, the rock, wildflowers, and the landscape.

We came down from the rocky hill.
Nice seaweed shining under clear water.
Soon I will be back to pick some rosehips.
These are the natural patterns found in flat walking areas. It is amazing how these rocks formed such accurate patterns; nature is truly remarkable.
For today, we covered all the rocks that I marked in blue. On our way back, I always thank nature and the places we visit. Thank you to all the elements.
On the road, some wild flowers and berries.
Thank you for reading and enjoying nature.
