Este relato se basa en mi rutina diaria, que transcurre de lunes a viernes en la escuela municipal Newton Tavares, en Boa Vista, Roraima, Brasil. > I am happy and comfortable with my lifestyle. This story is based on my daily routine, which takes place from Monday to Friday at Newton Tavares Municipal School in Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil. La temperatura en la ciudad alcanza los 36 grados, un calor intenso. Al bajar del autobús en la terminal, camino por las veredas del Parque Taumanan (Orla de Taumanan). Observo que las estructuras para el cultural siguen creciendo, con un gran movimiento de camiones y personal que trabaja para culminar una obra masiva. Tomo algunas fotos y continúo mi camino hacia la escuela, donde estudio portugués brasileño. > The temperature in the city reaches 36 degrees, which is extremely hot. When I get off the bus at the terminal, I walk along the sidewalks of Taumanan Park (Orla de Taumanan). I notice that the structures for the cultural festival continue to grow, with a lot of movement from trucks and personnel working to complete a massive project. I take some photos and continue on my way to school, where I study Brazilian Portuguese. --- --- Vale la pena mencionar que la instalación y mejora de este ambiente duró un mes. Cada vez que pasaba por allí, veía cómo el parque se transformaba con espectaculares escenografías. > It is worth mentioning that the installation and improvement of this environment took a month. Se trata del Festival cultural Mormaço, con dos enormes escenarios que ocupan la mitad de la orilla y se extienden sobre el río Branco. Uno es el Palco Sol y el otro, hacia el noroeste, el Palco Lua. Es una feria cultural gigantesca, enfocada en el esparcimiento y la recreación de la nación brasileña. > This is the Mormaço Cultural Festival, with two huge stages that occupy half the riverbank and extend over the Branco River. One is the Palco Sol (Sun Stage) and the other, to the northwest, is the Palco Lua (Moon Stage). It is a gigantic cultural fair, focused on entertainment and recreation for the Brazilian nation. La programación para los días 19, 20 y 21 de septiembre de 2025; incluye a artistas de lujo como: Lagum, MC Livinho, Jetlag, Matuê, Maneva, Iza, Vitor Kley, Raça Negra, Capital Inicial, Luccas e Gi en: Un mundo de magia y fantasía con Luccas Neto, y decenas de otras agrupaciones musicales brasileñas. Cerca de la laguna, al lado de la cancha de tenis, también se ha habilitado un área dedicada a la cultura Hip Hop. > The programme for 19, 20 and 21 September 2025 includes top artists such as Lagum, MC Livinho, Jetlag, Matuê, Maneva, Iza, Vitor Kley, Raça Negra, Capital Inicial, Luccas e Gi in: A world of magic and fantasy with Luccas Neto, and dozens of other Brazilian musical groups. Near the lagoon, next to the tennis court, an area dedicated to Hip Hop culture has also been set up. --- --- Cuando regreso de la escuela, camino con unos compañeros. Al pasar por el lugar del evento, mi amigo Pedro y yo decidimos quedarnos un rato. Pedro es un hombre de setenta y seis años que parece un personaje de la película Volver al Futuro. > When I return from school, I walk with some classmates. As we pass by the event venue, my friend Pedro and I decide to stay for a while. Pedro is a seventy-six-year-old man who looks like a character from the film Back to the Future. --- --- --- Nos acercamos al lujoso escenario del Palco Sol, para ver un espectáculo fabuloso. En ese momento, la banda de rock, Lagum se está presentando ante una multitud de ocho mil jóvenes que bailan, saltan, gritan y cantan al ritmo de la música. > We approach the luxurious Palco Sol stage to watch a fabulous show. At that moment, the rock band Lagum is performing before a crowd of eight thousand young people who are dancing, jumping, shouting and singing to the rhythm of the music. --- --- --- Pedro me comenta que esto le recuerda cuando fue al festival del músico Santana en Valencia. Yo también recuerdo haber estado en la plaza monumental de Valencia. "Yo estuve allí", le digo, y Pedro me mira con alegría. Tomo algunas fotos y en el grupo de jóvenes, una joven se ofrece a tomarnos varias fotos para atesorar este fascinante momento. > Pedro tells me that this reminds him of when he went to the Santana music festival in Valencia. I also remember being in Valencia's monumental square. ‘I was there,’ I tell him, and Pedro looks at me with joy. I take some photos, and a young woman in the group offers to take several photos of us to treasure this fascinating moment. --- --- Cuando termina la presentación, nos movemos hacia el Palco Lua. Nos unimos a la multitud que fluye sin parar. A las nueve y media de la noche, más de veinte mil personas se han congregado. El ambiente juvenil es maravilloso, y las veredas se desbordan de jóvenes con sus rostros mestizos brasileños. > When the performance ends, we move towards the Palco Lua stage. We join the crowd that flows non-stop. At half past nine in the evening, more than twenty thousand people have gathered. The youthful atmosphere is wonderful, and the pavements are overflowing with young people with their mixed Brazilian features.
