Hola, estimada comunidad de Lifestyle. > Hello, dear Lifestyle community. El momento actual es espectacular: estoy regresando de la Gran Sabana y haciendo una parada en la fabulosa Ciudad Bolívar. Al llegar al terminal de pasajeros, me recibe una amiga que me hospeda un rato en su casa. Allí me aseo rápidamente, pues siento que mis axilas claman por agua y jabón, y mi cepillo dental cumple la labor de limpiar mi cavidad bucal. Al terminar mi higiene, me invitan a consumir un hirviente caldo de pollo. Estoy atónito por esta maravillosa recepción. Después de este suceso, me retiro a reposar y a esperar la visita de mi hermano. > This is an amazing moment: I am returning from the Gran Sabana and stopping off in the fabulous Ciudad Bolívar. When I arrive at the passenger terminal, I am met by a friend who is putting me up at her house for a while. There, I quickly freshen up, as my armpits are crying out for soap and water, and my toothbrush does the job of cleaning my mouth. Once I'm done with my hygiene routine, they invite me to have some piping hot chicken broth. I'm stunned by this wonderful welcome. After this, I retire to rest and wait for my brother to visit. Transcurrida aproximadamente una hora, mi hermano me llama para avisar que viene a buscarme. En breves minutos llegó en su coche para transportarme a su casa. Agradecido con mi amiga por su cobijo, me despedí de ella. En cuestión de instantes, llegamos a su morada. Apenas había bajado las maletas, tenía servida en la mesa una humeante hallaca: ¡mi primera del año! Es un momento especial. Paso el día en su casa, reposando la presión del viaje en autobús que traigo en mi espalda. Luego, salgo al casco histórico a pasear y encontrarme con el alma de la ciudad. Retorno a la morada y disfruto de esta importante visita familiar. > After about an hour, my brother calls to let me know he is coming to pick me up. In a few minutes, he arrives in his car to take me to his house. Grateful to my friend for her hospitality, I say goodbye to her. In a matter of moments, we arrive at his home. No sooner had I put down my bags than a steaming hallaca was served on the table: my first of the year! It is a special moment. I spend the day at his house, resting from the pressure of the bus journey I have endured. Then, I go out to the historic centre to stroll and discover the soul of the city. Pero, antes, regreso a ver el Orinoco, dirigiéndome al Paseo o Bulevar Orinoco, llegando hasta el Mirador y la esquina Grillet. El paisaje del río es fabuloso. Camino por Ciudad Bolívar con el ritmo del reloj y el gozo en el alma. El último y más importante punto de mi agenda es el encuentro con mi amiga Rocío. Nos reunimos y conversamos con gran empatía. La temática planteada y el abordaje se centró en la diversidad cultural y la vasta geografía que abarca la cultura histórica y patrimonial de la región amazónica en el estado Bolívar. But first, I return to see the Orinoco, heading to the Paseo or Bulevar Orinoco, reaching the Mirador and the Grillet corner. The river landscape is fabulous. I walk through Ciudad Bolívar with the rhythm of the clock and joy in my soul. The last and most important item on my agenda is meeting my friend Rocío. We meet and talk with great empathy. The theme and approach focused on cultural diversity and the vast geography that encompasses the historical and heritage culture of the Amazon region in Bolívar State. Él era primo hermano de mi madre, Irma Garrido, a quien mi padre, Natalio Loreto Vásquez, le pidió la mano para que fuera su esposa. > It is a wonderful meeting at the museum, given that it is a work designed by the Governor, Architect Manuel Darío Garrido Mendoza. He was the first cousin of my mother, Irma Garrido, whom my father, Natalio Loreto Vásquez, asked to marry him. Estos son momentos inolvidables. Además, mi diploma de bachiller lleva la mención de Jesús Soto, quien fue mi padrino de promoción. Es muy emocionante atesorar estos recuerdos en el alma. > These are unforgettable moments. In addition, my high school diploma bears the name of Jesús Soto, who was my graduation sponsor.
