'Gathering' Art Work! #creative-sunday

By: @dlmmqb
FINAL RESULT I was sitting at my study desk with a blank page in my spiral notebook. I wasn’t sure what to draw or what the outcome would be. My mind was filled with thoughts about Eid al Adha, which is approaching on Monday. For those unfamiliar with Eid al Adha, it is an important Islamic holiday commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God's command

Leaving a Trojan Horse on instagram

By: @selfhelp4trolls
It’s been about 2 months since I started sharing about 10% of my posts on old school social media and writing with the intention of showing to an audience of people I know IRL as well as online friends. The posts are always well received on instagram (although I need to make 2 comments to finish them because instagram sets a limit on characters). I get around 25 45 likes with my 469 followers which is actually pretty astounding, 10% is not bad at all, especially considering 20 30% are probably dead accounts. The likes aren’t important in themselves but being as I am trying to eventually be able to make a living off my artistic output and find ways to blend my different lives, I am pretty excited about it

Craving Greek Food - DIY Chicken Gyros With Homemade Tzatziki & Greek Salad On The Side

By: @thisismylife
Cravings for Greek food Now I don't know how many Greek restaurants are to be found in your area and if you ever had the luxury of having not one but several really good Greek restaurants near your home, but I know when I grew up, I did. And I loved eating from the Greek restaurant since my childhood. I've always loved gyros the way we were served it in Holland, later when moving to Spain, and after that to Budapest, I have learned that they sell something called Gyros which is totally different from how we know it in Holland. Because of the not so great and often greasy meat they sold as gyros over the years, I stopped eating it at some point

Diary of a Patriotic Corper: The Final Chapter

By: @olujay
Twelve months of national service—completed. The last year has been truly something for me. I have spent the longest time away from home with entirely new people from different parts of the nation and tribes, eaten new kinds of food, been to places that I never imagined I'd visit, seen fascinating things, had interesting experiences, and more. The list can go on, but in all, I am thankful for this journey

Do Vampires Suffer an Existential Crisis?

By: @agmoore
Warning: Violence, Murder, Blood Draining! Redemption 1 He walked down wind whipped streets, where bits of garbage whirled through the air and were dispersed in darkened alleys. He followed the scent that wafted back from these narrow corridors and detected the unmistakable odor of an unwashed body, the fetid breath of the malnourished. These alleys, the niches abandoned by upstanding citizens as too dank and loathsome, were his hunting grounds

The Exile (World Building Notes)

By: @killerwot
A scrap of paper blows lazily on the breeze. Jikka stairs are the yellow stained sheet, which flies closer to him. Every so often it would stop moving, only to be blown even further. Coming ever closer, it fell at his feet
