spliNterlands app is the best_20250827_193519_0000.jpg Hello friends and splinterlands lovers, today I was thinking deeply on how to make the most of frontier, and I came up with tangible things that will help me. They are the following: One doesn't need to wait till he/she wins all the cards- it is just a waste of time to wait before winning the cards you wanted. You just need to get the money, purchase those cards and continue gaming. I discovered that the best thing is to purchase the necessary cards; when I upgraded some of my summoners and monsters today, I discovered that I was able to earn more points. For two weeks now, I could not go beyond 900 points; with my skills, the highest points I could attain was 1280; I knew it was very wrong, and I took the bold step to purchase some cards in the market. After I leveled up all the cards I purchased, I got 1500 points. Within an hour I upgraded those cards.

Getting necessary cards makes battle simple; if you don't have necessary cards, when I discovered I needed some cards, especially summoners, I went to the market to get them. Though, I leveled them to level 2; and my next plan is to upgrade them to level 3.

The Potency of Dread Tafarian Dreaded Tafarian Potency is one of the Frontier Ranked cards in splinterlands. It is a foundation card which can be used in frontier battles and modern ranked battles. It is a common earth unit; the present highest level is 5, and I have level 2 of it. Though, Dreaded Tafarian is not the most powerful foundation cards, but it is more efficient in some battles than powerful cards; It all depends on your strategy. I like to use Dreaded Tafarian whenever Noxious fumes are given in battle; I don't always use it in first position, there were battles where I used it in third or second position.

Rule of the battle

image.png Noxious Fumes All units start the battle poisoned. The only monsters that cannot be affected are monsters with immunity; and I don't have one in my collection; though, there might be many immunity monsters.

image.png Super Sneak All melee units have sneak (targets the enemy unit in the last position). All melee monsters can start the battle irrespective of their abilities. That’s the reason I used New Bluroc Aegis as the last monster in my lineup.

Monsters arrangement

I knew Dread Tafarian would lead the battle to the final. Despite I understood that my opponent used range attack monsters, but I knew that the healing ability of Dreaded Tafarian would handle it.

image.png Mad Gearhead Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏🌏 Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Ability: Reach Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤 Health: 6 ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Melee Mana: 6 Even though Mad Gearhead had reach ability, it could be used in any position in this battle. Mad Gearheadwas the monster with the highest speed. It was very useful in this battle because it attacked faster. Mad Gearhead was the only monster with 2 melee attack; contributed immersively to the elimination of New Blueroc Aegis, Wilhelmdale Deputy and Kicking Roc.

image.png Time Bandit Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏🌏 Level: 1 ⭐ Ability: cleanse Speed: 1 🚤 Health: 8 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Magic Mana: 8 The cleanse ability of Time Bandit cleansed the noxious fume from ** Dreaded Tafarian, and that was the reason it wasn't affected. With help of cleanse ability, Dreaded Tafarian could not be eliminated. If there was no cleanse ability, Dreaded Tafarian would have been eliminated for a long period of time. Therefore, one of the reason I picked Time Bandit was the cleanse ability. Another reason was the 8 units of health- that was the reason Time Bandit was the last monster eliminated by noxious fumes in my lineup; It was eliminated at the round of 4.

image.png Kicking Roc Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏🌏 Level: 1 ⭐ Speed: 2 🚤🚤 Health: 6 ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Ranged Mana: 8 Using Kicking Roc was very important; the only monster with the highest attack in my lineup- three ranged attacks. I placed it in fourth position because I didn't want to lose on time. I preferred to lose Wilhelmdale Deputy than Kicking Roc. The ranged attack was very important in this battle; at round 2, when it attacked opponent’s Dreaded Tafarian, you could see how it damaged its health to 4. That was the power of heavy attack. I finally eliminated opponent’s Dreaded Tafarian in the round of 3; and was eliminated in the beginning of round 4 by noxious fumes. Assuming I placed it at fifth position, it would not have reached 4th round.

Wilhelmdale Deputy Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏🌏 Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Ability: Snare Speed: 2 🚤🚤 Health: 7 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Ranged Mana: 7 What attracted me to use this monster was the ranged attack. After selected Kicking Roc There was no ranged attack monster that could give me 2 range attacks. That was the first thing I checked! When I also checked the monsters that were given to me there was no monster with 6 health; we all know to fight Noxious fumes, one needs monsters with a high number of health. The reason I preferred to use water summoner was the health- it gives +1 additional health to all friendly monsters, and also there is high numbers of health in water monsters.

New Bluroc Aegis Splinter: Neutral ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️ Level: 2 ⭐⭐ Ability: Taunt Speed: 2 🚤🚤 Health: 7 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Armor: 3 🪖🪖🪖 Attack: Melee Mana: 7 Without this monster, Dreaded Tafarian would have been eliminated in the second round of the battle; my opponent’s ranged attack monsters would have attacked Dreaded Tafarian. If the case was like this, there would be no way I would have won the battle. I knew by the time New Bluroc Aegis would be eliminated by my opponent’s monsters, I would have done damage to his monsters. Hence, the inclusion of New Bluroc Aegis was to prevent Tafarian from being eliminated from the battle. I knew that if by any chance, Dreaded Tafarian was eliminated, I would have not win the battle
