My Vulture is Screeching with High-Pitched

Hello splinterlands warriors and lovers! It is another episode of social media challenge where participants can showcase any skill in splinterlands battles, or any other related splinterlands write-up.

When I was given 16 mana which is the one of the smallest manner in splinterlands, it was necessary for me to call on Screeching vulture You could see how it was terrorizing the opponent's monsters in this battle. Whenever I'm given such a battle with small mana, I look for summoners with less than 4 mana and powerful monsters with less mana. In today's battle, I decided to choose Obsidian because it was the only summoner that could give me what I wanted. I knew I was going to use magic monsters- Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka; then, I was aware that the magic ability of Obsidian would be an advantage to me. Without Obsidian I wouldn't have had Regal Peryon and Djinn Biljka with 3 magic attacks, which made it easy to eliminate the opponent's monsters. I already knew that Screeching Vulture would be instrumental in this battle due to its abilities. One of her abilities I was engrossed with was ‘scavenger’. Screeching Vulture was gotten +1 health each time a unit is defeated in this battle. Just like the way I planned it, as a unit was eliminated, +1 additional health was added to it. That was how Screeching Vulture kept on adding health until it had an accumulated number of 11. This made me understand it would be tough to be defeated in this battle.

The moment I saw that my opponent used Kelya Frendul summoner, I knew the battle would be be easy for screeching vulture and any other melee monsters. We all know that Kelya Frendul gives +1 armor to all friendly monsters.
Screeching Vulture would have eliminated Endless Gibbon in the first round of the battle but the armor made it difficult for it.

Rule of the battle

Tis but Scratches All units have cripples ( -1 to target's max health after each successful attack; does not affect units with immunity).

Monsters Arrangements

Fungus Spawn Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏 Level: 1 ⭐ Speed: 🚤 Health: 2 ❤️❤️ Attack: Melee Mana: 0 Well! It is a good opportunity for me to see Fungus Spawn in such a good time. This is the kind of battle to use such a monster without a mana. You know, if Fungus Spawn is available when 50 mana is given, it will be useless because there will be availability to accommodate desirable monsters. But, when 12 or 16 mana is given in a battle; just like the one I shared in this battle, zero mana monsters will go along way. Though, Fungus Spawn did not attack in this battle, but it took the first attack which was incredible to me. I believe that if I did not use **Fungus Spawn in the first position; and I used Halfling Alchemist, the battle would not have been easy for me. Using Fungus Spawn to delay worked perfectly! Two opponent's monsters attack it before it was eliminated.

Furious Chicken Splinter: Neutral ⚔️⚔️⚔️ Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Speed: 1 🚤 Health: 1 ❤️ Attack: Melee Mana: 0 With such opportunity presented to me in this battle, I was very happy. Opponent's monster with highest health was deleted from this battle, while monster with the highest health in my lineup was still in this battle. I cannot see a monster that did not cost me anything without using it in this kind of battle; yet, Furious Chicken did not attack in this battle, but did incredible work by been attacked by opponent's Halfling Alchemist. Imagine such a monster attacked my Halfling Alchemist,it would have damaged the units to 2; it would have been eliminated at the first attack in the second round. Opponent's Halfling Alchemist is the only monster with 3 attacks in his lineup.

Halfling Alchemist

Splinter: Neutral ⚔️⚔️⚔️ Level: 1 ⭐ Ability: Weary Speed: 3 🚤🚤 🚤 Health: 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️ Attack: Melee Mana: 1 The 2 zero mana monsters I placed in the first and second position was to delay. Halfling Alchemist was my first monster. I don't want it to be eliminated so fast in this battle. I would say my strategic planning worked fine! If I made mistake by placing Halfling Alchemist in the first position, it wouldn't have had chance to attack; and it would have been eliminated in this battle. With my strategy, it was able to reach second round of this battle.

Regal Peyton Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏 Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Ability: Flying Speed: 6 🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤 Health: 5 ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Magic Mana: 5 The two major monsters I used Obsidian summoner were Regal Peyton and Djinn Biljka. I used magic attack monsters In this battle in case of a player like this that use summoner or monster with protect ability. This is to affirm that without magic monsters in this battle, there was no way I would have won. Attacking the health directly made win the battle- if not because of magic monsters I wouldn't have eliminated all my opponent monsters so fast, if it was melee monsters I used throughout, those monsters would have attacked the armor before the health which would have taken me more time. Regal Peryton was defeated in the round of 4, and Screeching Vulture led the attack.

Screeching Vulture Splinter: Earth 🌏🌏🌏 Level: 6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Abilities: Flying, Opportunity and Scavenger Speed: 4 🚤🚤🚤🚤 Health: 2 ❤️❤️ Attack: Melee Mana: 3 One of the things I like about Screeching Vulture was that it didn't miss the attack: by the time it led the attack, it already had 10 units. Screeching Vulture became undefeated when it led the battle; I thought I was going to enjoy its opportunity ability; unfortunately, the armor made it difficult to do the work I was assigned for it. I was aware that it was a battle with 16 mana caps, and the opponent would like to use monsters with small mana. The reason I picked it was to eliminate those monsters with small mana. The scavenger ability made it exciting to watch- increasing unit any time a monster is destroyed.

Djinn Biljka Splinter: Earth Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Abilities: Camouflage, Void and Weaken Speed 1 🚤 Health: 2 ❤️❤️ Attack: Magic Mana: 3

I placed it in the last position because a sneak monster can not attack it. The only way it can be attacked is when it leads the attack; and I don't want it to lead because it doesn't have what it takes to lead. I placed it in last last position to keep on attacking in n this lineup until the end. Assuming I placed it in the third position, it would have been eliminated.

In conclusion, The mana is very small, therefore I planned to use monsters that could lead the battle ranging from the first monster to the last; and if you see all my monsters, they can attack in the first position. That was what gave me confidence that I would win the battle.
