The Ultimate Legendary Zaku was Captured

Legendary Zaku is one of the best summoners to use in splinterlands. Zaku can give flawless victory in battles; but the player must be very smart to use Zaku. The best battle rule to use Zaku is going the distance; this is because only monsters with ranged attacks are allowed in this going the distance battle rule. We all know that Zaku has the perfect ability for the rule- +1 ranged attack to friendly monsters, and blast ability. Hence, Zaku is fantastic to use in going the distance.

I did not plan against only Zaku, but I prepared my lineup against any summoner; and I believe my lineup can take down any summoner. Though, summoners with higher levels have more preferences over the lower ones.

Rule of the battle

Going the Distance You can only summon units with ranged attack. The situation here only allows monsters with ranged attacks; that was the reason only ranged attack monsters were used in this battle. If other attacking monsters were to be used, I won't use Angelic Mandarin as my first monster.

Up to Eleven All units have amplify (increases damage of retaliate and all punishment abilities- corrosive ward magic reflect, return fire and thorns- by 1; does not stack). For instance, assuming I use a ranged monster with return fire or summoner with return fire; by the time when Ferexia General attacked, 2 units would have been damaged by return fire from the attacker.

Born again All units have rebirth (self- resurrects once per battle with 1 health and 100 percent of armor, all magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied; skip, turn).

Summoner

Kelya Frendul Splinter: Water 💧💧💧 Level: 6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ability: speed and armor to friendly monsters It was 2 monsters that made me to picked Kelya Frendul over any other summoner. I believe that Water Elemental and Swamp Spitter would be instrumental in this battle. I was never thought that my opponent would use Zaku In these battles, I thought he would use another summoner. At first when I saw Zaku I was shocked because I did not expect it. I also aware that the armor of Kelya Frendul would be useful since magic monsters were not allowed in this battle.

Monsters arrangement

Angelic Mandarin Splinter: Water 💧💧💧 Level: 2 ⭐⭐ Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤 Health: 6 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Armor: 1 🪖 Attack: Range Mana: 3 Looking at the Angelic Mandarin with 6 health was so spectacular. I knew her health would make it difficult to destroy. Therefore, my aim was to use Angelic Mandarin to delay. Wave Brood was a available for me to use; using Wave Brood would have made it difficult for me to use six monsters- I wouldn't have been able to use six monsters. My plan worked out perfectly because Angelic Mandarin was eliminated in the 3rd round of the battle; and, immediately it was eliminated, Lava Launcher was eliminated. This Lava Launcher was the only monster with close ranged ability in my opponent's lineup. The moment Lava Launcher was eliminated, Ferexia General was useless- it could not attack again.

Venari Marksrat Splinter: Neutral ⚔️⚔️⚔️ Level: 2 ⭐⭐ Speed: 2 🚤🚤 Health: 3 ❤️♥️♥️ Armor: 1 🪖 Attack: Ranged Mana: 3 With experience I have in splinterlands, some players like to use ranged monsters with snipe ability. When I saw Ferexia General I was very happy; I knew that the martyr would be advantageous to both adjacent monsters- Water Elemental and Angelic Mandarin. The first time it was eliminated, the stats of adjacent monsters increase by 1; the second time it was eliminated, Water Elemental ranged attack increased to 5, health to 9, speed to 8 and armor to 3. This stats of Water Elemental was what I have planned for while I was picking monsters for this battle.

Water Elemental Splinter: Water 💧💧💧 Level: 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ability: Healing Speed: 6 🚤🚤 🚤🚤🚤🚤 Health: 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️ Armor: 1 🪖 Attack: Ranged Mana: 5 I knew that Water Elemental would lead this battle; and that was the reason I used a monster with Martyr ability to make it stronger. With the new stats when it led the lineup, it would be difficult to destroy even if it was attacked. The healing ability was a tool that kept it in this battle; it got to a stage when Water Elemental's health was damaged to 4, if not the healing ability, it would have been destroyed in this battle. At the end of the battle, Water Elemental was not destroyed in the battle.

Swamp Spitter Splinter: Water Level: 6 ⭐⭐⭐ Ability: Repair and Giant kill Speed: 4 🚤🚤🚤🚤 Health: 5 ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Armor: 3 🪖🪖🪖 Attack: Ranged Mana: 7 Kelya Frendul summoner gave me opportunity to use Swamp Spitter. Given armor to all friendly monsters was a good idea, this was the reasons Swamp Spitter was very active repairing the most damaged armor. It was not easy to destroy my monsters due to presence of Swamp Spitter that kept on repairing the most damaged armor. Another thing I like about Swamp Spitter was the high speed; and due to high speed, it was the second monster that attacked in my lineup.

RazorHound Splinter: Water 💧💧💧 Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Abilities: Strengthen Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤 Health: 4 ❤️❤️♥️♥️ Armor: 2 🪖🪖 Attack: Ranged Mana: 5 I understand the rules of this battle, it was necessary for me to use a monster with ‘strengthen ability’. The ‘strengthen ability’ gave +1 additional health to all friendly monsters. Initially, Water Elemental has 6 number of health; inclusion of RazorHound in this lineup made the health of Water Elemental 7. The 2 ranged attack was incredible, contributing to the victory.

Crustacean King Splinter: Water 💧💧💧 Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Abilities: Tank heal Speed 2 🚤🚤 Health: 2 ❤️❤️ Armor: 2 🪖🪖 Attack: Ranged Mana: 3 As small as this monster was, the impact was significant. Without Crustacean King, Angelic Mandarin would not have reached the 3rd round. It would have been eliminated in the 1st or second round of this battle.

In conclusion, Zaku is the one of the best summoners to use when ‘going the distance' rule is given. I have seen how terrorizing Zaku is when this kind of rule is given. Level 1 of Zaku can not be underrated when ‘going the distance' is given. One of the solutions a player can use against Zaku is a strategic plan which I did in this battle. I planned against any types of summoners my opponent might use against me.
