Every first of the month, Hive comes alive. Dozens of accounts Power Up, and the community moves in sync to strengthen the network and its economy. This month, our project decided to take it a step further.
We built an app to track Hive PowerUp Day in real time. Why? Because we realized there wasn't a simple way to see how many users were participating without running a query on HiveSQL or the API, how collective progress was going, or whether we were close to breaking the record.
That record is 951 unique users powering up on a single day. It's not just a number. It's a reflection of how much energy is stored in the community. So we set a goal: to build a tool that would make this visible, easy to follow, and most importantly, shareable.
An app to watch and join in
The application powerup.hivecreators.co lets you track the event minute by minute, check rankings, view your PowerUp history, and—what excites us the most—generate a shareable card with your stats to post on Hive or social media.
We believe that showing participation encourages more people to join. That’s why we designed a personalized card that shows your account, the Power Up amount, and your ranking for the day—a recently added feature.

Additionally, we made several updates to the site's design and structure to make it as automated as possible, avoiding repetitive tasks like manual data updates.
More than just a number
Each Power Up represents someone who believes in Hive and is committed to helping it grow. That deserves recognition.

Cada primero de mes Hive se activa. Decenas de cuentas hacen Power Up, la comunidad se une en un gesto que fortalece la red y su economía. Este mes, desde el proyecto, decidimos dar un paso más.
Creamos una app para seguir el Hive PowerUp Day en tiempo real. ¿Por qué? Porque notamos que no había una forma sencilla de saber cuántos usuarios estaban participando sin tener hacer una query en HiveSQL o en la API, cómo iba el progreso colectivo o si nos estábamos acercando al récord.
Ese récord es de 951 usuarios únicos haciendo Power Up en un solo día. No es solo una cifra. Es un reflejo de la tanta energía está acumulada en la comunidad. Así que nos propusimos una meta: crear una herramienta que lo hiciera visible, fácil de seguir y, sobre todo, compartible.
Una app para ver y participar
La aplicación powerup.hivecreators.co permite monitorear el evento minuto a minuto, revisar rankings, ver tu historial de Power Ups y, lo que más nos emociona, generar una tarjeta con tus estadísticas para compartirla en Hive o redes sociales.
Creemos que visibilizar la participación anima a otros a unirse. Por eso diseñamos una tarjeta personalizada que muestra tu cuenta, el Power Up que hiciste y tu posición en el ranking del día, una integración reciente.

Asimismo, hicimos varios cambios al sitio con lo que respecta al estilo y la arquitectura para que sea lo más automáticamente posible para no sea haga una tarea repetida de actualizar el sitio
Más que un número
Cada Power Up representa a alguien que cree en Hive y decide comprometerse con su crecimiento. Eso merece reconocimiento.
