HiveCuba vuelve a Pinar del Río!
 Así es, nuestra comunidad a vuelto a pisar las calles de la provincia más occidental de Cuba y esta vez para hablar de Hive frente a escritores y artistas. La última vez fue para traer ayuda a los damnificados del huracán Ian, así que nos alegra hacerlo en un mejor momento. Y ahora hablemos de este pequeño evento al que fuimos invitados, porque sí, fuimos invitados. Se dice fácil, pero ha pasado un año desde que existimos y se empiezan a ver el fruto de todo el trabajo. Debemos darle las gracias a @nanixxx por hacerlo los contactos primeramente que llevaran a dicha invitación. Que nos llegó a través de Liyanis, la directora Revista La Gaceta de la Asociación Hermanos Saiz (AHS), para el día de ayer en su sede. No fue hasta hace poco que hablamos de ello, esperando por la confirmación, pero ya llevamos un tiempo gestionándolo. Tuvimos además la dicha de contar con la hospitalidad y el apoyo de la revista durante nuestra estancia. Pero no podían faltar los Hiver de Pinar que ya son varios y que en esta próxima foto les muestro algunos, como @ernesto900613, @yanerkidiaz, @elflaco52, @mariolisrnaranjo y @irankpotter. >HiveCuba returns to Pinar del Río!
>That's right, our community is back on the streets of Cuba's westernmost province and this time to talk about Hive in front of writers and artists. Last time it was to bring aid to the victims of hurricane Ian, so we are happy to do it at a better time. > >And now let's talk about this little event we were invited to, because yes, we were invited. It's easy to say, but it's been a year since we've been in existence and you start to see the fruits of all the work. We must thank @nanixxx for making the first contact that led to this invitation. That came to us through Liyanis, the director of La Gaceta Magazine of the Saiz Brothers Association (AHS), yesterday at its headquarters. It was not until recently that we talked about it, waiting for confirmation, but we have been working on it for some time. Esta vez fuimos un poco menos técnicos en el discurso, tratamos de evitar términos que puedan ser complejos para la mayoría como blockchain, criptomonedas, etc. Tomamos esta decisión por el tipo de público que asistió, en su mayoría escritores y artistas, que lo más cercano a este mundo que conocen son los NFT y pudimos comprobar que eran los pocos. Así que la charla se basó en explicar Hive desde el punto de vista de un ecosistema lleno de aplicaciones descentralizadas, describir los distintos tipos que existen y enfocándonos más en los creadores de contenido. Mostrando las ventajas contra las redes web2 al no ser descentralizadas y lo que esto beneficia al cubano dada nuestras particularidades. Tuvimos la intención de dejar a las personas con ganas de conocer más y de mostrarles donde obtener más información. Podemos decir que se cumplieron las expectativas pues hemos dado nuestra palabra, frente a 30 personas, de volver y dar un taller con todo lo básico de Hive. Pero no queda ahí, tenemos una invitación al Centro de Formación Literaria Onelio Jorge Cardoso de la mano de su directora, para hablarles a sus estudiantes sobre las posibilidades que Hive les puede brindar. Sin dejar fuera a las demás personas del público que se interesaron y se nos acercaron para hacer cada pregunta que les surgía. >The Talk
>This time we were a little less technical in the speech, we tried to avoid terms that may be complex for the majority like blockchain, cryptocurrencies, etc. We made this decision because of the type of audience that attended, primarily writers and artists, that the closest thing to this world they know are NFTs and we could see that they were the few. So the talk was based on explaining Hive from the point of view of an ecosystem full of decentralized applications, describing the different types that exist and focusing more on content creators. Showing the advantages of web2 networks by not being decentralized and what this benefits the Cuban given our particularities. > >We had the intention to leave people wanting to know more and to show them where to get more information. We can say that the expectations were met because we have given our word, in front of 30 people, to come back and give a workshop with all the basics of Hive. But it does not stop there, we have an invitation to the Literary Training Center Onelio Jorge Cardoso by the hand of its director, to talk to their students about the possibilities that Hive can offer them. Without leaving out the other people in the audience who were interested and approached us to ask every question that arose.
