It Looks As If It Doesn't, But It Does

Greetings to all my amazing friends here and beyond. We are sure in the last lap of the year, hope your dreams are already coming true? If you say school is a scam, try illiteracy. On countless occasions I have heard people say that basic education ends with a senior secondary school certificate, but I don't see it as true in any way. Well, to an extent their point is valid because of the kind of country we found ourselves in, where most of the courses we study in the university do not have a real-life application.  ______ ______ If the government develops our system to feature the course we study at the university, many people who graduate from the university won't lack what to do.One of my friends aboard told me of how the topic she suggested to the supervisor was rejected with the reason that it does not have an immediate application. She also told me that before a person conducts research work, there is already a problem that that project is targeted at. So when one finally solves that problem, he gets to outline the procedures and all that. ______ ______ But in my country you will see many times students recycle projects; the thing that is most painful is that it is some supervisors that collect money from the students and give them an old project.Truth be told, degrees are still worth the effort despite the bad eggs we have in the system. Going through the university has lots that it adds to one, both knowledge-wise and the exposure that follows. Many things I know today I wouldn't have known if peradventure I didn't go through the walls of a higher institution of learning. People should put in all the efforts they can in going through the higher institution of knowledge. ______ ______ Just today I was encouraging a friend of mine to venture into a higher institution. This is especially for those who have it in mind to get the white-collar job, because one can't have a good position without that certificate.Application of what one learned in school, in most cases, is by choice, especially for those of us who are housewives. The major thing I can say I do is try my best to impart knowledge to my kids using different dimensions. And in the simplest form, by the use of practicals and getting to understand the different types of learners I have around me, and as kids, they are too. ______ ______ Truth be told, there is more the government should do to improve the system of education. The first of which is to make education more attractive and improve the standard of education. When I think of how poor the standard has been reduced, it makes my heart bleed. It becomes more pathetic when you get to see the difference that exists due to regions and religion in my country. I will not like to go deep into this, but in all, let the standard be equal so we won't have disaster in the near future. Thank you, my lovely people, for reading from me.
