......just as she was about to quit her job, her boss offered her the promotion she had stopped hoping for months ago.
Jane a blunt dark skin lady, with her afro heir sprouting out like dark tiny mushrooms, carefully held in place by a head band, couldn't believe her eyes, she had read the promotional letter like for the tenth time pausing everytime at where her name was mentioned and her new role and the description.
the previous day Jane had made up her mind to quit the job, with frustration she had head home without saying a word to anyone Jane had storm out of the building after close of work, with all her effort sacrifices, extra hours and it seems she's not doing anything, ....I know I'm better than this, nonsense, it's time I end this rubbish.
here she was, about to go tender her resignation letter to her boss, he had called for her and handed the promotional letter to her, congratulating her for all her job well done, all the extra hours, the super amazing idea she brought out that had saved the company $100,000.000 lawsuit, the promotion came with lots of other benefits, a new car, a fully furnished apartment, salary increment with bonus and allowances.
while staring at both letters in her hands, she couldn't capture what best to describe the moment, caught up between worlds, with a heavy sigh she promised to up her game and enjoy the ride while it last after all this what she's always wanted.....
