This is a follow up post from this previous announcement.
The Changes:
@hiveph account delegates to @hivephilippines account and it's delegation rewards will go into the pool sent to @hivephtips.
@hivephtips will receive all the Hive rewards sent from Hive Engine token rewards + hiveph delegation rewards for delegating to hivephilippines. This means an increase incentives for those already delegating to @hivephilippines monthly.
The catch
There's no exact date the rewards will be released each month as the only requirement to be eligible is having your delegations be at least 7 days old. This is to prevent users from "timing" their delegations to get a piece of the pot and then undelegating.
How much Hive rewards would the delegators be earning now that these changes will be implemented? from an estimate as of the recent monthly reports, it's more or less double than what @hivephtips is distributing to delegators right now.
Why the changes? to improve the distribution of community rewards. If you have questions about how hiveph/hivephilippines curate, you can run the /profile function on discord to check the stats and the compilation posts on how the stake is being used. This is to support Filipinos on Hive and HivePH members (Filipino or not on the platform).
How can the community increase the rewards?
Delegated more, support the hiveph account, include it on your beneficiary for your posts voluntarily. Portion of the funds the community collects gets used to buy HE tokens or allocated to future charities. The more hiveph account accumulates HP, the more HP it can delegate to hivephilippines.
There are no plans to create a community token for HivePH.
Delegating to Hivephilippines doesn't mean you get an autovote nor does this community owe you anything for delegating.
