If you look around today, it is very heartbreaking to see very young people today experiencing the desire to die.
Brother Eli explained that this is a tragic reality and this did not just happen. It is the fruit of the generation where discipline has been neglected thoroughly.
This scripture reminds us that in Proverbs 13:24, that true love has to correct. He that spared his sword hated his son. This doesn't mean that one will live a cruel life, but rather a loving correction that, most a child's character, helps them to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong.
Brother Eli message strikes deeply as it reflects what we see around us. Many parents have become lenient. Or they are very too busy to guide. The result is that children always go without direction, without that resilience, and almost without that clear sense of purpose.
To become vulnerable to this kind of situation, depression, pressure, and hopelessness can be a problem. The Bible has already warned us in 2 Timothy 3, that in the last days, children will be disobedient to parents, unthankful, and unholy.
This period, we are witnessing the prophecy fulfilled. The message is not one of condemnation, but of hope. We can still, at the moment, do something about it, by doing things that can restore children by returning to the godly discipline and constant guidance.
When correction is rooted in love and faith, it becomes the clear path that will lead our children back to life and hope and righteousness.
