This teaching is a important call to action and should be served as a reminder to all believers. It is not enough just to listen to the word of God or profess faith or keep calling the name of God why we we haven't got into salvation.
True salvation is about living according to the will of God on a daily basis whether we are still young or whether we're still old, still humble or whether we are still of influence, rich or we are poor. The standard is the same for everyone. Obedience is the key to an eternal life.
