The teaching of brother Eli Soriano which explains the judgment of God and the gift of the divine favor brings an important perspective of God.
His teaching was backed from the scripture of Deuteronomy chapter 30 vs 19 and 2 Timothy chapter 4: 6 to 8. This gave a profound perspective of the salvation which is not guaranteed at birth but it is based on our choice. The choices we make towards our lives.
As believers this has made us to know that there is nothing like predestined salvation and God always allowed room for changes as believers and which remains open until we fulfill our purpose here on earth.
Thee book of Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 19 which said "I have set before you life and death blessing and curse, therefore choose life"
This illustrates the gift of free will that God has given to us as believers to choose between good and evil. This has presented so many choices to us and explained to us why we deserve salvation. God also respects our choices and we are to choose between obeying his law or disobeying his law which we might face the consequences of our actions.
Brother Eli kept making reference to Solomon who was already destined to be a great leader, but due to his choices, he failed and faced the consequence of God.
This give us an important message to us believers that we should be vigilant always and we should be steadfast. This message also made a important critic that we are not save until we choose to be saved. Hebrews chapter 10:38 also pinpoints this teaching also that in order to live by faith you must persevere to be the best in anything you do as believers.
This teaching is not to make Christians lose hope but to inspire us as believers to be diligent in our spiritual dealings so that when God evaluates our journey here on earth we will not be found guilty.
So it's just a call that we should align our ways to the purpose of God, ensuring that the choices that we make are in line with the purpose of God so that at the end we get the crown of righteousness.
