Bro Eli teaching on meditation.
This opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of what it really means to meditate according to the way the bible have taught us.
So many people today really have the same meditation which come over the practice by which is sitting for hours chanting or just staying calm and emptying one's mind. Brother Eli reminded us that two meditation is not about spiritual silence but it's about the delight in and reflecting upon the love of the lord day and night.
It is good to say but his delight is in the love, the lord and in his law that he meditate day and night. Which means that biblical meditation is centered on God's word. It's about thinking deeply on his commandment his goodness and is really for our life.
If we can exercise what the spiritual discipline that was all closer to God but at least what also carry a strong one that love may not command us maybe might be made by human tradition but this cannot turn us from the facts that we know the truth.
We are called to focus on the law of God to think about how we can live a good and healthy life. If you treat other justly and avoiding true meditation is about the transformation received God's worship our thoughts our hearts every day by day.
