Brother Eli a talking about worship which is related to Christianity? Just a powerful reminder that we are called to honor both the Father and the Son, and there is never a separation or exclusion.
In John 4:23-24, the emphasis was made on the two worshipers who must worship the Father in both spirit and thought as they deserve God. There has been a clarification that this does not diminish the Son's holiness of worship. In Hebrews 1:6, there has been a revelation about how angels were commanded to worship Jesus.
Jesus was the first begotten, and this was them showing Jesus honor. This is a clear harmony between the worshiping of the Father and the Son. In 1 Peter 3:15, we have been asked to revere Christ as Lord. All this is to comply with the call in order to serve God.
Also in John 14:1, it talks about how we believe in God, believe also in me. Even in 1 John 2:22, I have been warned of the mark of Antichrist. Brother Eli made reference of 1 Corinthians 11:3 and John 14:28. This gave a very important principle on which God is the head of Christ and the Father is greater. And these are both essential in our faith as Christians. And this is calling us to obedience and worship.
We have been as challenged as believers to embrace the Father and the Son as one. This ensures that our worship is complete. And at last we are pleasing God in our ways.
