Brother Eli gave an insightful explanation from Genesis 3:19 and 2 Thessalonians 3 vs 10. These teachings reminded us that our divine blueprint is to be healthy and live a fulfilled life. The principle behind this is that the sweat of the face which shall eat the bread is not just a mere command, but an advice that we are meant to be physically, mentally and spiritually fit for the gospel as believers.
So this underscores the importance of believers working hard as the foundation of the reason we should eat, just as it has been from Adam. So this wisdom aligns with God's design for us as humans, that when we labor, then after labor it produces discipline. Discipline to purpose. And purpose, to result, spiritually and physically.
This emphasis is on what trying to work hard as believers before we eat. And this speaks a lot of volume about the value of working hard for what we will eat and achieve in life. for the early Israelian to point out we are putting in efforts to achieve our goals, our purpose in life, which cannot be achieved without an effort.
When we labor, then it keeps us active, it keeps us strong, encourages us always to continue doing the work of God, living a healthy lifestyle, avoiding diseases, avoiding all forms of business that can hold us down.
This is also backed by science. Those who engage physically on this job tend to be more healthier than those who just rely on convenience or spiritual grace from God. So there are a lot of people eating fast food or processed food, which is very tempting and very tempting and alarming. And this contributes to a decline in health in the faith of our believers and in humans.
But God's way, which is do it in the healthy way. Why? We discipline ourselves. We chase our purpose so that at the end, we will reap the fruit of our labor, both physically and spiritually.
Let us try to embrace this principle. Let us try to work out on purpose. And then we choose food that nourishes our body. Instead of that, that will be the burden of our body over time. So in doing so, we are also doing the will of God. And this ensures that also our body is safe at the last day until we turn to dust.
