Listening to the teaching of Brother Eli about these two parts of life according to the gospel of Christ, this gives us a deep sense of conviction.
We may declare that the teaching of Jesus Christ is beyond the commandment of Moses. Why the law of Moses allowed our loving ones, neighbors, to hate our enemies, Christ and the gospel, which is the higher form of love. And this extends to even our enemies. This is true when it comes to being a Christian.
As a teenager, it is not easy to be lost in those words of destruction. I need to set a standard, but the gospel gives a better direction, which is a life that is centered on humility and righteousness. Our Lord Jesus teaches us that we should not only love those who love us, but we must know how to forgive those who hurt us.
Kind of admonition that life is not easy. And this reflects the stewardship of Christ's teaching. Brother Eli started to make the emphasis on Matthew chapters 5 to 7, that when we understand the gospel of Christ, it is more than just words. It is a guide to how we can live a righteous and holy life.
It is the best manner of life, especially we as a young person, that we can choose how we can live our life here on earth.
