Have you ever been in a situation where you're traveling, boarded the airplane, and can't wait to get off the plane, maybe squeezing yourself to the aisle to be the first to come down, feeling proud that you're beating the crowd by being the first out?
You're just holding your baggage, ready to grab that suitcase on your way down so you can be the first and wait some more. But meanwhile, there is someone who got off long after you who strolled in just casually. And what do you know? Their luggage appeared almost immediately.
It is funny how life can be. You can do everything right. You planned well. But here someone just gets things easily without adding so much effort. That little moment in the airport can teach you a very big lesson. Life does not always move on the first confessor.
Sometimes some people seem to even wish to set before you, even though they had worked more lesser than you. Some find happiness than you. Some find love faster than others. Some get promoted before others. And that is just life.
It is easy to feel some are frustrated or left behind by this truth. But the main fact here is that your time will surely come. Life is just a matter of timing, chance and divine appointment.
Some things might not happen the way you want or at the time you expect them. But it will happen at the appointed time. So the important part of this is to trust the process and don't give up.
The person who arrives early is not only the person that leaves first. Sometimes the one that waits a little longer ends up with something even better than the people that first had the thing.
Instead of rushing to compare yourself with others, enjoy the wait. Use it to build yourself more and be ready for the bigger success that awaits you. So because when you are lucky, your blessings, your opportunities, your moments come. You are ready to grab it with full chest.
Remember life is not just a game. It is a journey where you go at your own pace and you see unexpected blessings on your way. So the fact that someone got there before you doesn't mean that you have forgotten or you also will not get to that destination. It is just a matter of time. It simply means your stories begin to unfold gradually and you have to wait for the best time.
Next time you find yourself waiting too much, just like the way you waited at the airport, just smile and say this is life. Remind yourself that you will always find your way down no matter who goes first or not. It might take a little bit longer but it will surely come and when it does you will be happy.
