Wen game, wen heal?
We know, we know, things have gotten delayed and delayed and we are very sorry about the state of development and lack of updates. If anything we'd want the game to be up and running already but things unfortunately take way longer than expected, especially for a small team like us and many of us doing this for the first time and creating everything from scratch.
We hope the long wait will be worth it once we get to launch!
In this post, we wanted to announce a few new creatures, we haven't put a lot of work into growing our creature roster lately as funding has been tight so we've focused that towards game development, some backend and frontend stuff like vial opening and 3d work mainly.
Our lack of social activity, mainly here, has been due to there not being too much official things to announce, although @acidyo has been posting thoughts, plans and insights on the game and its economy here and there in case you have missed them. We'll try to reblog those unofficial posts a bit more in the future so you can stay up to date in case you're only following this account.
Once we feel that things have fallen into place, such as alpha vials being launched and alpha testing being up and running, we will definitely attempt to keep this account more active with diverse activities, contests, etc. As well as updating our whitepaper and roadmap, for now things are still quite uncertain when they're going to get launched, but one thing we know for sure is that we're not giving up and will continue working towards our game slowly but surely.
Let's take a look at some new creature reveals!
While we have already spoiled this creature over in our Discord a while ago, we finally got around to naming them!
Ermy is a new favorite of our community, its cute looks are inspired from the Mouintain Ermine. In Holozing it'll be a quick and fearsome creature with a high chance at critical strikes. What it lacks in defenses it'll attempt to make up in agility and dodge chance while still doing some okay damage output towards enemies throughy icy attacks that may slow them down even further!
Ermo is its evolved form, upon evolution it'll receive a boost in stats but the focus will remain the same, speed, agility and elusiveness. Double the tails does not equal double the damage, but it might get in an extra hit on some attacks compared to Ermy which may mean an extra chance to freeze enemies too!
This next creature is fresh out of the oven, our inspiration was spiders but with a twist to their legs!
Arachlet is the base evolution of this creature, it's small but already quite large legs that act as a shield to its body. This creature will be quite tanky for being a bug type due to its tough legs acting as a shield.
Arachlyte is the next stage, its legs become larger to cover the growing body but they start becoming sharper as well allowing for its shield to also be used as damage output and suffer recoil to incoming physical attacks.
Araclydon is the highest evolution of this creature, its majestic sword-legs can now deal much higher recoil on physical attacks and continue working as shields to incoming attacks. While this bug type can't learn poison type attacks, it makes it up with its tanky nature being able to take a lot of hits before it faints and at the same time cause bleeds on enemy creatures both from recoil and its physical attacks.
While we can't announce a launch date for our Alpha Vial openings yet, we wanted to let you know that we're working on it and hope to be able to do so soon and are excited to see what ya'll will get! May the holo and radiant odds be in your favor!
With the alpha vial launch, we also wanna make an official post soon discussing changes to collection rewards distribution from vials towards opened vials, i.e. creatures and items and how you can maximize your zing earnings or diversify them if you'd like to keep some vials closed for the future.
When we announce the alpha vial launch, we will also be announcing an end-date to our alpha vials which have been purchasable for over 11 months so far! This means that they will be replaced with Beta Vials, but we may also have something else coming up soon for our avid collectors so keep an eye out for future posts next month!
Here's a small preview of that!
There's a few more mini-announcements and changes we wanna discuss when the time comes that we cannot bring up here yet, we hope you're still with us and excited to play when things are ready. Thank you for your continued support, crowdfunding and activity in our community throughout all this time, it means a lot to us!
