Holo everyone!

We are back with a new Zingtober even for this year. We were hoping to reveal a new creature along with this announcement, but our artist is taking a bit longer fine-tuning the details hence we're a bit delayed with this post!

To make up for it, this year will be a lot more chill compared to the previous one where a lot of artists had to take up a lot of their time during the month to attempt and compete for the main achievement.

Achievement Tiers

This year there will only be 3 tiers of achievements

• 4 prompts - completed 4 out of the 10 selected prompts in order
• 7 prompts - completed 7 out of the 10 selected prompts in order
• 10 prompts - completed all 10 out of the 10 selected prompts in order

We have selected 10 prompts from the official Inktober event we thought would fit and be easier to create something Holozing related from:

We'll be giving away 600 Hive in prizes to the top 3 artists participating in Zingtober!

1 receives 300 Hive

2 receives 200 Hive

3 receives 100 Hive

We will also be curating through upvotes most entries of participants putting in effort and then after the event allowing participants to claim the achievement for passive zing collection rewards tied to the soulbound NFT!

This means that claiming a Zingtober achievement will get you claimable Zing for a long time forward! This is however prone to be diluted with other collection rewards over time.

The winner of the Zingtober contest will also get the chance to draw their versions of the achievements that'll be distributed to all participants and future ones. We will however make sure it's an acceptable entry and offer a payment of 300 Hive for it. You will be allowed to include your signature in the artwork that'll be included in the achievement if you want!
@yetsimar was last years winner and her artworks as the winning artist are now soulbound NFT's that previous zingtober participants were able to claim and collect zing rewards for almost a year! Here's one of them:

How to participate

• Add [Zingtober] to the title of your entry posts

• All submissions must be related to our project

• Only one color-scheme per entry, we don't want to restrict it to just being black & white but mixing more than one color would go against the event and won't be considered an entry

• Try to post in the Holozing community, but include #zingtober hashtag in your entries in case you forget/are new to Hive so we can find them

• Include the name of the prompt in the title

• Try to post them within 72h of that day's prompt or your entry of that day

• No plagiarism and AI assistance allowed, source inspiration/reference if you're using any
  

We will have judges deciding if your entry is valid for achievements and which artists will enter the podium!
