## *Just recently, we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 53rd birthday, and I wanted to share with you how special that day went and of course… how special the person celebrating that day truly is.*

###### Her name is Theresa, and she is the mother of my loving husband, which also makes her my mother-in-law. I first met her way back in 2009 when my husband and I were still in a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship. From that moment, I could already tell she was a woman with such a big heart and I know for sure some of you here experience the same thing like you could already tell right?. She treated me not just like a guest or a stranger, but like her very own daughter.(My heart is melting) That simple act of kindness left a mark on me and has only grown deeper over the years. She has always been a mother figure to me since she is so caring, understanding, and welcoming like a typical “mama”.

*Every year, we always make sure to plan something special for her birthday despite. It is not just about the food, the gifts, or the place what matters for us is about making sure she feels loved, appreciated, and celebrated for everything she is and everything she has done for our family. In the previous years we prepared little gatherings at home *(just a simple dishes)* where we invited her siblings and close family members. Those celebrations were always filled with laughter and joy well of course, it is so happy to see her celebrating with her siblings… but this year we decided to do something different.*
*For her 53rd birthday, we thought it would be a great idea to take her out for a nice dinner because we are not really used eating outside in a reastaurant. We chose Ostings by the Sea, a restobar located just within our town., What I love about the place is the cozy vibe perfect for celebrating such a meaningful occasion. It was a change of scenery from the usual home celebrations since it has a band playing nice music and we wanted her to experience something new, something that she would truly enjoy and remember.*
*At 53, Mother Theresa continues to inspire us all. She is a woman of strength, kindness, and wisdom that someone who puts her family above everything else even before. She sacrificed so much to raise her children despite being a widowed at the age of 45 but she never fail to provide them with the love and guidance they needed to grow into the people they are today like she work so hard just to let them finish their studies. She has raised not only a wonderful son, who is now my husband 😊 but also built a family that I can say “simple yet wonderful”.*
*I can say that this day is definitely a reminder for us how blessed we are to have her in our lives. It is not every day that you find someone as genuine as her. A mother in law who’s laughter is contagious like a sound that you can hear all over the room. And yes she may not be my mother by blood but truly and surely she is most definitely a mother by heart❤️ All throughout the years has treated me like her own daughter and cared for me in ways I didn’t expect and accepted me wholeheartedly into her family. That kind of love and acceptance is something I will always be grateful for…*
*So here’s to you, Mother Theresa…may this new journey of your life bring you more joy, peace, and good health. May the universe align in your favor and shower you with more blessings and more wonderful memories with the people who love you. Well of course, you deserve all the love and happiness in the world 💐 not only on your birthday but every single day. Cheer’s to more years to come!*
