## Little did I know that life has so much surprises that will make you feel more delighted to do something for yourself happy. And that is one thing why my husband and I decided to go back to this place because we’ve been here 12years ago and it really marks as our milestone in life not only for a reason that it is a nice place but it shows the long years we’ve been together as a couple even before we are not yet married. But this time, we brought our friends and his family.

So yeah! in this blog I am going to show the reason why we really love this place. This place is called ***Bojo River*** which is located at Aloguinsan, Cebu and it takes 1hr and 30mins travel time from our town City of Naga to here so basically the travel time depends on the vehicle you are taking because for us we are riding a motorcycle which is more convenient and fast.

As soon as we arrived, we are welcomed by the local staff… it was really heartwarming and accommodating and that alone makes me appreciate the place. Looking around, I could see that the place has been improved into better and what makes it beautiful? The locals are really preserving the environment, you could see that they made some changes to improve but doesn’t harm the ecosystem and the environment. I’ll be dropping some info about the rates of Bojo River:
**Full Tour Packages (advance booking required)**
• ₱850 per person for groups of 6–10 pax, includes:
o Welcome lei and drinks
o Snacks and lunch
o River cruise
o Orientation/lecture and handicraft demo
**Walk-in Rate (No advance booking)**
• ₱400 per person, includes:
o River cruise
o Swimming only (no meals or extras)
**Additional Glass-Bottom Boat (coral reef view)**
• ₱200 per person, available when there are at least 10 pax

###### Since we are walked-in customer’s, we paid the walk-in rate which is the 400 pesos each and that includes the river cruise. And guess what, since we randomly shared to the reception that we’ve been here 12years ago, they were so happy that we visited the place again so they provide us the Glass-bottom boat without paying additional as our perks. My heart is so happy. They also conduct orientation by the locals before doing some activities and they share some stories about the history of the place like the name *Bojo (pronounced bo-ho)* it is a Visayan word which means a “hole” or a “mouth” which basically refers to the opening of the sea since the river connects to the sea. Amazing right?

> As we are having the river cruise, though I’ve been here already before, I am still amazed by the beauty of its nature… the water is calm, the place is quiet, the mangroves and mountain is so refreshing in the eyes. I couldn’t help but reflect on how far my husband and I have come. From being just a young couple visiting this place 12 years ago to now married and still choosing to explore life together. It reflects me that in this life, there will always be a place to grow.

During the glass-bottom boat experience… we got the chance to see the corals and some fishes or marine life beneath the clear water. It was fascinating! The feeling of looking down and seeing another world under the river gave me chills in a good way. I was reminded once again how blessed we are in the Philippines to have such rich and diverse natural wonders like just in Palawan and some other place here in the Philippines.

After the river cruise, we stayed a few more hours to just relax and take photos ☺️ with our friends and family. It was fun capturing not just the surrounding but also the genuine smiles on everyone’s faces. We even had fun swimming and my husband enjoyed diving in the water. Most of the times, it is not just the place that makes a trip memorable but also’ the people you share it with ❤️ and I’m sure most of us here will agree, right?

## This trip with my husband and family is truly a reminder that time may pass, but the memories and places that shaped us will always remain close to our hearts. This is our second time to visit this place and I still hope to visit again soon. ☺️
