Today, I revisited the Food Place food court, located at Pavilion Mall. The food court is located beside the Oriental Kopi Restaurant. It is time to try food from another stall.

This time, I ordered a bursting meatball superior soup noodles from the Go Noodle stall, which cost RM16.50 per bowl. For noodles, I choose Bee Hoon. The dish's main feature is Bursting Meatballs and Superior Soup.

Bursting Meatballs are handmade meatballs with a juicy minced meat filling (usually pork), known for their “bursting” texture, where the inner filling is more flavorful and tender. Superior Soup is a light, clear broth enhanced with Chinese herbs, spring onions, cilantro, and greens like choy sum or bok choy. It's soothing, mildly savoury, and clean-tasting.

Go Noodle House is a popular Malaysian chain known for its "Superior Soup" and use of Chinese rice wine in broth (though optional in some outlets). The brand draws from Fujian and Teochew influences, where handmade meatballs, fishballs, and herbal broths are common comfort foods.

The “bursting meatball” is a more recent innovation — a twist on traditional pork balls, inspired by Taiwanese and Hong Kong-style juicy fillings (similar in concept to xiao long bao or meatballs with gravy core).

The meal itself embodies the balance of traditional Chinese techniques with modern creativity, and it’s especially favoured as a warm, satisfying meal in Malaysian shopping malls and food courts.
