“Your Love” by Alamid was released in 1994 and became one of the most iconic love ballads in OPM history. Performed by the band Alamid, with lead vocals by Gary Ignacio, the song captured the deep and uplifting power of love through heartfelt lyrics and a simple acoustic-rock style. It won Song of the Year at the 1994 NU107 Rock Awards and remains a timeless anthem often played in weddings, radio, and acoustic sessions. Even after Gary’s passing in 2015, the song continues to inspire and is remembered as Alamid’s greatest hit.
I'm a person who's really drawn into love and slow songs and this song has deeply captured my heart and is always on my list whenever I love to sing to the karaoke. Its rhythm feels so heartfelt and loving, and every time I sing it, I can truly feel each word-as if offering it to someone you deeply love. 💖
