REORIENTED PASSION

Our world is changing and that’s because we as humans are changing. Since we have come to know that some things worth more than others, it has always been a goal for us to work hard to get as much valuables as we can and that desire has only grown and is still growing. It is actually very understandable why we are so concerned about making so much money or profits from anything we do. This is so that we can always meet up with our needs and live a comfortable life.  Gone are the days when we choose our passion over business. These days, we all are more money-minded because money indeed answers all things. It is now seen as foolishness when we choose a career path based on our passion for it, especially when such career doesn’t fetch us anything. Today, our parents want us to pursue careers or a business based on how much we can make from that career and not because it is what we want to do. In fact, the generation we are grooming now is one that is growing to naturally pursue making money over keeping a passion or love for anything. Now, their love and passion is for making money because that’s what actually works now. Gone are the days when pursuing passion seemed like the best thing to do. Now, people’s passions and love are changing. We are more concerned about making money which is now what forms our passion. The only best thing we can do now is growing passion for careers that can fetch us good money. But the good news is that, these days, there is hardly ever any career path we choose to venture into that won’t fetch us money, as long as we are good at it. The only thing is that, some require more effort than others. I’m sure there are still people who do things that they love and enjoy working while making money but then, it is hard to see that now because so many people already think that their passion is not good enough to give them money. But I believe that if people’s mind can be reoriented, they will be able to see that there is actually a way to do what they love and still make the money that they want from it. The world sadly is making us believe that it is impossible but I don’t think it is at all especially in this age and time.  If we can enjoy the things we do and do them well, as long as it’s something good and noble, I believe there is a way to make a good living off it. The problem is that, we are just scared that we might not succeed in the end but that’s not true but then, our fears will only make us keep seeing the impossibilities in those things. Working because of money is not bad as long as we are giving it our best. It might take a while but as long as we are diligent and honest in the things we do, we can always make a living from it. It takes time but people will one day figure out those that do what they do because they love it and those that just do it for the money. But as long as we can give our best to what we do, whether we love it or not, I think it is okay. Money is necessary for our everyday lives and if we work just because of our money, I don’t see anything wrong with that. Just be honest and diligent with it. Thank you for reading through. 💜
