Estamos en temporada de receso en la Fórmula Uno, muchos somos impacientes y no vemos la hora de que los motores vuelvan a rugir. Pero volvió el MotoGP, la competencia que viene a ser algo así como la máxima categoría de las motos, una especie de fórmula uno en dos ruedas.
A falta de pan buenas son tortas decía mi abuela y me dispuse a ver esta competencia cuyo campeonato este año está bastante aburrido, principalmente por la supremacía de las Ducati por sobre el resto del parque, y no solamente sobresale la marca italiana sino también un único piloto, Marc Marquez que se está llevando el torneo con tanta facilidad que llama la atención. Algo similar a lo que acontecía con Red Bull y Max Verstappen en la F1 un par de años atrás.
Vi la carrera junto a mi yerno que también es un apasionado de las motos, aunque no ve seguido el MotoGP, prefiere la F1. Le comenté apenas comenzó la carrera, que Marquez, quien se encontraba en segundo lugar, esperaría unas cuantas vueltas y luego tomaría la punta hasta el final. No es lindo cuando uno predice con exactitud lo que va a ocurrir, pero no se hace por tener poderes sobrenaturales de adivinación del futuro sino porque ha visto repetirse tanto esa situación que sabe de antemano como termina. Como jugar con las cartas marcadas o los dados cargados. No tiene gracia, aunque si es lucrativo.

Pero no voy a entrar en los detalles de la carrera, ya para eso basta con leer la completa descripción de la carrera que hizo el amigo @franz54. Solo voy a describir algunos detalles adicionales.
El primero de ellos está centrado en la caída de Jorge Martín, el campeón vigente que suma un nuevo accidente a una larga lista que comenzó en la pretemporada y que le obligó a tener que ver varias carreras desde los pits. Se cayó y lo llevaron a revisar luego de mostrar algunos signos de dolor cuando estaba tirado en la grava, no tengo mayor información de lo que ocurrió con él luego, la caída no pareció algo grave salvo por el hecho de que un pie le quedó enganchado en la moto. Esperemos que todo esté bien.
Mi segunda acotación es sobre Peco Bagnaia, el ex bicampeón de la categoría parece haberse olvidado de conducir, desapareció ese piloto veloz, seguro y aguerrido que sorprendió a todos apenas un par de temporadas atrás, ahora no le encuentra la vuelta a la Ducati y deambula entre la "chicha y la limonada" para graficar mediante el uso de un dicho popular el mar de dudas que deja su conducción sobre la misma moto que Marquez lleva al triunfo uno y otra vez. Hay sospechas de todo tipo y no son pocos los que dicen que el equipo prefiere a Marquez y que le dan a Peco una moto menos competitiva. No lo se con certeza, pero algo pasa con él, con la moto o con el equipo.

También vi Moto3 donde Valentín Perrone, nuestro crédito local, partía desde la primera posición y por supuesto nos ilusionó a todos. Corrió muy bien y estuvo prendido en el pelotón de punta conformado por 4 pilotos durante toda la carrera, faltando 3 vueltas para la bandera a cuadros tomó decididamente la punta, sin embargo, esta categoría es extremadamente pareja y luchada, faltando una vuelta y mientras intentaban pasarlo sus perseguidores, uno de sus rivales lo empujó fuera de la pista y perdió varias posiciones para finalizar en 7mo. lugar, una pena porque podría haber ganado o al menos haber estado en el podio.
Por la tarde vi la definición del BMW Championship, el segundo torneo de 3 que componen la definición de la FedEx Cup de golf, quizás mañana les traiga algo de esto. Y les anticipo que también ahí utilicé mis poderes de adivino, sabía quien ganaría.
