Para quienes no la conocen, Ariel es ese personaje entrañable salido de la imaginación del talentoso grupo de creadores del Walt Disney Animation Studios, una de las diversas divisiones de ese gigante del entretenimiento que es Walt Disney Company.
Ariel parece o al menos es así por mis tierras, es un nombre que se utiliza principalmente en varones, pero en las películas de La Sirenita, es la denominación de la entrañable, brillante y decidida joven sirena protagonista de la historia.
Tal como ocurre en los films de esta serie donde el personaje tiene una gran capacidad de nado, resistencia sin igual y evolución personal, la nadadora argentina Agostina Hein continúa demostrando que sus medallas obtenidas en los juegos panamericanos juniors 2025 que todavía continúan desarrollándose en Asunción del Paraguay, no fueron producto de la casualidad; apenas terminada su participación en Asunción, tomó un avión hacia Europa y acaba de repetir una gran actuación en los 400 metros combinados, prueba disputada en el marco de la competencia mundial juvenil que se desarrolla en Otopeni, Rumania.

Agostina, de 17 años de edad, ganó la medalla de oro en la mencionada competencia registrando un tiempo de 4:34.34 quebrando el récord argentino y sudamericano para esa especialidad, tiempo que registraba otra argentina, Georgina Bardach, desde los JJ. OO. de Atenas 2004. En aquella oportunidad le alcanzó a Bardach para obtener la medalla de bronce, la última presea obtenida por una nadadora de nuestro país hasta el presente.
Un dato curioso y para destacar es que con el tiempo obtenido en el día de ayer por nuestra "Ariel", en Atenas 2004 le habría alcanzado para quedarse con la medalla de oro, ya que la ganadora en esa oportunidad, Yana Klochkova de Ucrania, triunfó con una marca de 4:34.83. Así de brillante y promisorio se muestra el futuro de la joven Agostina.

La actuación de nuestra nueva y sorprendente promesa de la natación todavía no termina, en el día de hoy competirá en los 800 libres y el viernes participará en la quinta serie de los 400 libres, por si fuera poco, también estará presente en la última serie clasificatoria de los 200 combinados. Además, está anotada en los 200 mariposa, veremos si su resistencia le alcanza para tamaña exigencia.
La película recién comienza y de la mejor manera, veremos cómo continúa. Estaré pendiente de su actuación.
