Hello everyone, friends! Yesterday I spent an unforgettable day in San Giorgio, a location in the Lessini Mountains, a charming place that gifted me with a unique experience. My decision to go there was driven by the desire to admire the snow, an element that this year made a more timid appearance than usual, perhaps due to the increasingly evident climate changes affecting our planet. Once upon a time, this was a place for skiing; we're at about 1400 meters, but over time, it snowed less and less, and so this ski resort fell into ruins. However, when I arrived in San Giorgio, I immediately sensed a magical and enveloping atmosphere. The mountain landscape unfolded before me with its timeless beauty, but it was the snow that added a special touch to this corner of paradise. Unfortunately, the abundance of snow that was once enjoyed seems to have drastically decreased, a tangible sign of the climate alterations affecting our land; here, there used to be even 3 meters of snow. The silence of nature interrupted only by the crunching beneath my steps created an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The landscape, whitened by a thin but suggestive layer of snow, filled me with emotions: the joy of living such a special moment, when there's snow, everything seems more beautiful! I fully immersed myself in this experience, allowing the biting cold wind on my face and the soft sound of my steps to create a unique harmony. Despite not having much snow, I cherished every moment spent in this enchanted place, feeling fortunate to experience such an authentic and unspoiled moment. I also traversed wooded trails, admiring the sparse local flora and fauna. The sensation of being surrounded by the purity of nature was indescribable, and I took the opportunity to reflect on our role in preserving these unique places. In conclusion, my tour in San Giorgio in the Lessini Mountains was an experience that left a deep imprint on my heart, a journey infused with emotions and awareness, where the snow, albeit in reduced quantities, made everything even more magical and special.
