Located on the edge of Malioboro street in Yogyakarta. Beringharjo market is an old building built around 1925, one of the centers that sells various batik motifs, such as house dresses, shirts, sarong, t-shirts,blankets, kebaya,and accessories.
Visitor who come to Beringharjo market come from various Cities outside the Province. Various batik motifs and many choices are also quite cheap, such as batik daster cloth sold for 100.000,- IDR or around ($6,17) for three pieces of daster and it can be bargained.
There are also batik shirts that cost around 50.000,- IDR around (_3,08). The price of barong t-shirts is also around 35.000,- ($2,1) per piece. Beringharjo market is open from 7 am to 5 pm.
