Tenjojaya village residents make a living such as farming and plantations. In Tenjojaya village beautiful scenery and there are also historical buildings built by the Dutch Colonial.
There are several road option to Tenjojaya village, my friends and I used a motorbike to tenjojaya village, using a road through the village.
After walking by vehicle for a few minutes, passing a yellow iron bridge which is the boundary of Tenjojaya village with the boundary of sekarwangi village. The bridge is a historical heritage bridge.
After crossing the bridge, on the retaining wall, there is a large sign welcoming those entering Tenjojaya village. Entering Tenjojaya village.
I went to a historical site left by the Dutch East Indies, namely the water gate and water channel for the hydroelectric power plant through Tenjojaya village in Cikuya village, built around 1923-1924 and one of the oldest power plant channel in the Sukabumi area.
After viewing the hydroelectric power plant's water channels, the journey channels, the journey continued to the top of a hill in Tenjojaya village. Which the locals call panenjoan, meaning to see the surrounding natural scenery.
Apparently, the hilltop is currently undergoing environmental improvements to make it even more beautiful and beautiful. After resting at the top of the hill, we tried to return home by motorcycle via an alternative route.
The road was in good condition, paved, and had views of community gardens on the left and right, with oil palm plantations visible in the distance, the distance between people's houses is quite far.
The type of plantation office building that still exist is a historical building, some of the material have been relocated.
