Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well. During a recent trip to my friend’s hometown, I had the opportunity to visit a stunning location called Chitya Bariyan. Tucked away between two rural areas(munjuma and bariot), this place feels like an undiscovered treasure. A newly built road now links the villages, running alongside serene water bodies surrounded by tall trees and rolling green hills. The calm waters reflect the beauty around them, while children can be seen swimming and enjoying the peaceful setting. It truly felt like stepping into a hidden paradise.

The water was so clear and seeing how effortlessly children swam in it,as it they had been doing it their whole lives.
I talked to those children and learned that before the road was built, people actually used a old bridge as part of their transport route

The condition of the bridge was pretty bad. There was rust everywhere and you can also see the loose parts. These all were the signs that how long it had been standing there.Standing there i can see both the present and the past which was very soothing honestly.

Then we slowly started moving upward, climbing thorough this mountain and as we reached higher, the view opened up.

As we reached higher,i looked at the other side of hill and saw another deep water spot formed by a stream flowing through the rocks
The water was rushed down the hillside in clear pool like area.It felt like a secret place only locals knew about.Every step we took lead us to the treasures like this where nature still flows freely.

Some of my friends also joined those kids but we didn’t capture it cause taking phone near these slippery stones is very risky. Then we were very tired so we just continued our journey. We also saw the homes of these locals .They offered us food but we just drank some water and continued.

Some of my friends also swam in the water.Swimming is such a energy draining exercise and we realise it while we were going back from this area.We were so tired that we can’t walk properly. But the sun was setting and the view was so pretty. After every few steps,i looked at the back and i was honestly mesmerised by the beauty of this place.

After struggling hard,we finally reached the top.We sat near the fields for some time and enjoyed seeing the people spraying pesticides on the crops to protect them.I also belong to a village in kashmir, but this place was just perfect.
We were so hungry at that time so we enjoyed some pears from the orchard nearby. They were so sweet, juicy and perfect.
The farmers were caring 20kgs on their backs and effortlessly spraying their crops.

We didn’t click alot of pictures of ourselves because we were in the worst position ever.We also didn’t bring anything to eat there and that was the worst decision. We didn’t expected this hike to be this long.We also have to walk on our foot cause the road is not for local transport.Only specific cars can pass throught that place. Also the road passes from the water so in monsoon the transport system is nearly closed .We didn’t see any vechile that day.

That’s all from my trip.Hope you guys enjoyed reading my blog.See you guys soon.byy
