Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well.Today i am back in this community to share with you guys the crochet project i created. Last weekend,I was feeling so overwhelmed and i was missing my home so much.When my mum called me during my university time,i started crying after hearing her voice.She panicked and asked me what’s wrong?I told her i am missing home and nothing is really making me happy here.She immediately told me to come back for weekend.Hearing these words gave me a hope so I can’t resist myself and went home.My cousin sister also became mother this week so i had to bring some gift for my niece too.But I didn’t have much time so i just made her these cute shoes in the calm and peaceful environment of my home
New born babies are so tiny.I didn't know what size yarn and hook i should use.Firstly,I made the shoe with big yarn and the soul turned out pretty big.I asked my mom about the size if it is correct or not and she said I think It is bit small.I was very confused.Then I ask my sister and she told me this shoe is very big for a new born.Then I used a small yarn and 3mm hook and tighten the stitch to max to make it smaller
The tutorial i followed used sc,hdc,dc and it was not a written pattern so i listened to the whole video second by second to complete the shoe.The shoe size is mainly decided my the soul of the shoe so i made it really tight.When i was making the shoe,i was thinking how we went from kids ourselves to now aunts completing our responsibilities of an adult.I think life is going so fast and it makes me really sad sometimes.I sometimes sit down and think that after some years all of my siblings will get married and my parents are getting old too.Everyone is in the different stage of their lives and you can’t rely on anyone anymore.
Anyways,talking about the shoes then I started the top part.I wanted to make them tall because if they are large in case they will not fell off from her feet.
Then in the front of the shoe i made it tight so it can fit her which was my biggest concern.
Then i added the star of the shoe which was the bow.The color combination was so bomb you guys.Firstly,i made a bow but it was so big so i created a pattern on my own and made this bow
Final Look
This is the final look of the shoes.I gave her the shoes myself.My cousin liked them alot.I was so desperate to see if the shoes will fit her but honestly they were a big big for her tiny feet but she told me she will keep them save until they really fit her so it was a win.
