Artwork on paper:
Hii... all, I'm Humansleep. This time I want to post my work again in the Alien Art Hive community. And here I will also share a work process whether it's drawing or sketching that I will later do as an effort to be seen and appreciated.
I CAME FOR SOUL, BUT STAYED FOR THE CAFFEINE.
This is my second collaboration artwork with a coffee shop called “KALEMBO KOFFIE” located at Street’s. General Gatot Subroto, Binjai, North Sumatra (Medan, Indonesia). One boring night, I suddenly got a notification message containing an invitation to collaborate, they invited me to collab with them and asked me to create an artwork design with my own style that would be used for commercial needs and artwork for clothes. They also gave me a clue, which is “Grim Reaper with a Barista, and not too dark”. For the artwork design that I will make later.
And after the short conversation ended, that night I tried to think hard to get an idea and concept with the clue that had been given. Boosting my brain by consuming caffeine abnormally and quite forcing my brain to work in order to get an idea and concept that is appropriate and not too dark for them.
In the middle of sketching on paper, using a pencil. I had felt the prolonged fatigue suddenly come back to me. And I had also thought about not continuing, but that night, in the corner of a dark and quiet room with a laptop screen on and I was always staring at it, I suddenly heard a strange voice from the darkness that I didn't know where it came from. It whispered to me not to obey and to fight it immediately before it hugged me tightly and became very big (that prolonged fatigue).
Then I repeated the same method and a little extra, which is consuming caffeine and nicotine in an abnormal way to boost my brain back to complete the project I was working on. Instantly, I felt like I found a glimmer of light and a fire of enthusiasm that burned again from within, and immediately undid my intention that I had previously thought of not continuing to make the artwork, to want to finish it immediately.
The first artwork was made digitally by inserting a sketch that had been made from paper first, using adobe illustrator and photoshop for the coloring part.
and the second work, as usual made with ink on paper, using a pencil.
And, here's the process:

This is all I can say for right now, sorry if there are wrong words or my typing is not perfect.
I don't know what to say because my brain is confused and wants to rest for a while, hopefully we can still give each other good feedback... and thank you for everything.
Thank you for taking the time just to stop by and see my work, and see you in my next work. 👽🖐
