CHAPTER: RESIST AND BURN

RATBUSTUURD

Hello everyone, I'm Humansleep. This time I want to post my work again in the Alien Art Hive community. And here I will also share a work process whether it's drawing or sketching that I will later do as an effort to be seen and appreciated.

TOOK POWER FROM THE CLUTCHES OF THE REGIME GOVERNMENT.

In a land called Heaven Froost, power has long been usurped by greedy and scheming officials. They call themselves the Great Council, but the people know them better by the name whispered in the market alleys and back alleys: “Ghost Rat in a Tie.”

The land was once fertile and prosperous, but now only a shadow of its former glory remains. Farmers lost their fields to unreasonable taxes. Fishermen must pay for a license to fish in their ancestral seas. Schools are only available for the children of officials. Hospitals turned away poor patients, and the once beautiful islands, which were a place for tourists to visit as well as a home for the animals there, are now also threatened with extinction due to the actions of rats greedy for wealth and power.

From the ruins of hope, two creatures from two different races emerged, the creature with the shell was named Torquistle - he was a native of the island of Luluphou which was threatened with extinction, Torquistle chose his own way not to submit and rebel against the greedy rats to take back his rights that had been grabbed. Torquistle is accompanied by an alien creature in the form of a Mecha Octopus from an off-planet race, named “Bottlehead Burn”. A dissident race that has long lived independently, without any system of power/government or authoritarianism in it.

They didn't do it alone. Secretly, they gathered a group of other creatures: an expert in weaponry named Doomsgrip, and two young hacker creatures Bootleg and Clary from another universe. They call themselves “Ratbustuurd”-a combination of rat buster and bastard, in mockery of the authorities. They began with a secret message: murals appeared on city walls, showing a visual of a ravenous, gold-crowned “Rat Ghost” feasting on people's graves. Then the government's information systems began to be disrupted: lists of officials' assets suddenly appeared on public websites, complete with evidence of offshore bank accounts.

The people began to rise up. Protests took place in every city. The Tie-Dyed Rat Ghosts who called themselves the “Great Council” sent the police to silence them, but Ratbustuurd had prepared everything-torture tapes, secret documents, and conspiracy videos were massively uploaded across cyberspace. The day came: the day the Supreme Council headquarters were surrounded by thousands of people. A masked man dressed all in black stood on an old garbage truck, holding a microphone stolen from a state TV station.

"They call us pests. But we are the ones who will exterminate the real rats. This is not a bloody revolution, it's a people's court. And today... the verdict is in!"

And suddenly Torquistle, an alien creature in the form of a Mecha Octopus from the Bottlehead Burn race, and Doomsgrip the weapons expert appeared, carrying 3 rats that they had tortured and then tied together and smeared with gasoline, ready to be burned and displayed in the midst of a very hot situation and faced with the other rats and police officers, those who participated in the rebellion cheered, and the fire within them also burned.

The battle between Ratbustuurd and the police began, the supply of weapons that had been prepared by Doomsgrip, the weapons expert was released and used to eradicate the rats - greedy rats and police officers. After the battle, not all Ratbustuurd members survived. But that night, one by one, the members of the Great Council were captured by their own people. Not to be killed, but to be tried openly, in a court that was finally completely free.

The land of Heaven Froost did not immediately become a paradise. But for the first time in decades, the voice of the people was no longer suppressed. And Ratbustuurd's name-despite its blemishes and wounds-was etched into history, not as a saintly hero, but as an ordinary man desperate enough to fight back.

This work is a critique that I made according to the visual illustration of my imagination about a corrupt government that is crazy about wealth and power, which legalizes various means just for its own satisfaction and benefit.

The story is only a fiction, but behind the story there is a case that recently happened, the mastermind behind this case is none other than the rat with the tie and his friends who want to turn an island into a nickel mine.
